I think V is safe bet. Changeovers will probably be done at Chiswick. As for vehicles i think that might depend on what happens to the 71 & 281 tender award . If the 281 is lost then i would expect SP ex rt 148 , if 281 retained there is a chance of being brand new buses. I'm a bit confused by this - if the 281 is lost, what has the 148's SP's got to do with it? @rgd976 is making perfect sense here, seeing as the 148 is apparently due to be converted to Borismaster operation next year. It has been widely speculated that the SP's could transferred to FW to facilitate a new existing buses bid for the new contract, but if the 281 is lost then the E3 could potentially inherit the SP's once LU takeover the contract next year.

Now if he had mentioned E3 in his post like you have, I would of understood it far more.

Now reading through the posts, @rgd976 responded in a speculative nature to an earlier question, regarding the potential bus type. I also agree with Rgd976, with what could potentially happen if the 281 is lost. But i wonder if the E3 receives existing buses, will they be cosmetically touched up.

We all know that sometimes people talk about things that are different to what the title of the thread is so it's always good to make understandable to everyone. As for the E3 receiving existing buses, it depends on how old they are as to whether they'll be refurbed or not.
