They don’t seem to be running to Chartwell today, as LVF shows the first departure of the day to be going to Westerham. Unless that’s just a TfL issue? First departure of the day is 08.25 and that is only scheduled to operate to Westerham. Departures from 09.25 to 16.25 operate to Chartwell. This is correct. If Chartwell isn’t showing on LVF then, just as last year, the incorrect schedules have been loaded for Bank Holiday Monday. Regardless of what LVF is saying, the 246 IS running to Chartwell today

The 733 wasn't running today (bit odd) so I went to King's Cross to go on the 63s new TFL spec electrics instead.
Walked to Wood Green Station Piccadilly line- Wood Green to King's Cross St Pancras Walked to St Pancras International for the first stop on the 63 3426 (63)- St Pancras International Station to Therapia Road Walked to Honor Oak Park Station before taking a wrong turn to Honor Oak Road Overground- Honor Oak Park to Highbury & Islington Victoria line- Highbury and Islington to Finsbury Park Piccadilly line- Finsbury Park to Wood Green Walked home
One of my shorter journeys; was only about 4 hours. Anyway about the EVs. Really nice interior but that's where it ends for me. No grab rails (struggling to find a reason why they aren't there), thought the sky roof would be a little larger and the ibus screen wasn't working so I couldn't see how it looks. It's a nice touch by TFL but we all know they'll need to do a lot more if they want to reattract passengers

You might end up touching every passenger on the top deck trying to get off 😁😁😁😁

Got around to doing the 733, roughly a day after a couple images was shown of Northern line trains going on the new southbound platform.
Overground- Southbury to Liverpool Street Circle line- Liverpool Street to Moorgate VH38128 (733)- Moorgate Station to Oval Station (quickest 36 minute journey you'll ever have. Felt more like 15 minutes) Northern line- Oval to Leicester Square (been a while since I heard classical music at a Tube Station) Piccadilly line- Leicester Square to Wood Green

Although my trip today was nowhere near London, I shall list it here anyway. It was to an area you know YY13VKP - Huddersfield & Wakefield! My trains were Northern class 323 and TPE loco hauled stock there, then TPE class 802 and Northern class 769 (former Thameslink class 319) back. My buses were all Arriva or (Transdev) Team Pennine. I shall classify these A or T respectively. 319 Huddersfield via Berry Brow - T E200-MMC 572 261 Heckmondwyke - A Solo SR 0409 229 Huddersfield - A E400-MMC 1980 FTB Huddersfield via Town Centre - T mini E200-MMC 729 D1 Clayton West, Springfield Avenue - T E200 743 X1 Wakefield - T Tempo 1408 122 Ossett - A mini E200 1024 127 Horbury - A Gemini 1511 (Honest, and it was my first ride in the area on Easter Monday 28.3.16 too!) 231 Huddersfield - A E200-MMC 1071 No time to ride one, but a few 13-reg First Eclipses now have dark blue grabrails rather than pink.

Had reason on Saturday to go from South Ealing to Guildford : so, went a slightly scenic bus route way!
65 : Kingston. One of the better London routes for scenery. Worth a top deck bus ride. 465 : Dorking. Really doesn’t feel like a London route, but it’s all the better for that. It’s an anomaly, and long may it thrive : this was a very busy bus. 32 : Guildford. A slightly rattly Compass Bus E200, but more than compensated by the gorgeous scenery through the Surrey Hills. Next time, I may have a stop off at lovely Shere. Well worth sampling.

Yesterday’s journey :
468 to Brockwell Park - Gemini 3 - A painfully slow journey which scuppered my chances of catching an Abellio 322 on its first day.
37 Herne Hill Station to St Matthews Estate - Enviro 400 - A nice journey, although the bus was very busy.
Victoria Line Brixton to Stockwell - just an average journey, nothing special to report.
Northern Line Stockwell to Charing Cross - Nothing to Report.
Southeastern Charing Cross to Dartford - Class 707 ‘CityBeam’ - This was my first long journey on a 707, and I was rather disappointed, the seats were too close to the body of the train meaning that my legs were left in an awkward position, and the absence of armrests and seatback tray tables was disappointing for a modern unit. It did have much better ambience than the other trains though, and the train felt more open.
96 Dartford station to Bluewater Shopping Centre - Omnicity DD - A nice fast journey with some great scenery.
428 Bluewater to Dartford station - Enviro 400 - Fast journey with a very nice bus !
Southeastern Dartford to Charing Cross - Class 376 - A much more comfortable journey than the Class 707 but the PIS’s were only at the end of each carriage.
9 - Charing Cross Station to Kensington Palace - LT - A very busy journey.
23 - Kensington Palace to High street Ken Station - OME - My first Metrodecker journey and it seemed to be a nice bus but I couldn’t really give an accurate review after a one stop journey.
Circle Line High Street Ken to Victoria - I had to wait 9 mins but apart from that, a good journey.
Victoria Line to Brixton - I had to wait 12 mins due to the tube strike, and ended up catching a train 1 min after the first one.
196 from Brixton Academy - Enviro 400 MMC - Nothing to report here.

Back on the Thameslink grind today. Wanted to do this yesterday but a small setback happened but we move.
ENN39 (W4)- Wood Green Station to College of North East London LT518 (149)- College of North East London to Liverpool Street Station (bus was curtailed to Liverpool Street just after we passed Shoreditch. Classic TFL BS) By this point I've used up my hopper fare so I got to London Bridge via Tube instead Central line- Liverpool Street to Bond Street Jubilee line- Bond Street to London Bridge Thameslink- London Bridge to Coulsdon South (busiest Thameslink train I've been on so far) DW324 (60)- Coulsdon South Station to Broad Green Avenue (was gonna get off at West Croydon but decided to carry on to Thornton Heath) 2514 (109)- Broad Green Avenue to Brixton Station Victoria line- Brixton to Finsbury Park Piccadilly line- Finsbury Park to Wood Green Walked home
