One of the sad things is that five years after delivery to London they may get refurbished with an all red front.

Looks nice - looking forward to seeing these on the E1, and their smaller brothers on the E10 soon

who said the E10 was getting the new look E200?
over 400 of these new E400s have been ordered by uk operators
stagecoach fife are getting 18 volvo b5lh versions, stagecoach manchester are getting 29 cummins diesel versions. Those are the only known actually allocations so far of the 400 ordered

An interesting development - especially around the extra seating and the revised compact staircase design.

Far better than the horrid Gemini 3 but not as nice as the Mk 1 Enviro 400.

Will be interesting to know if the rattling is at least reduced.

I like it! The front looks different from its predecessor, which is more than can be said of the Gemini 3/StreetDeck

At least the bus looks like its in proportion! Does look more promising than the Streetdeck. Would be interesting to see them in service. Compared to the old E400 (which STILL looks fresh after almost a decade!) I'm not keen on the front and back, but like the Streetlite it'll grow hopefuly on me quickly (after all it's an Enviro400!)

Much better than the Mk1 E400 which looks like a cheap provincial bus without the bonded windows.

A nice looking piece of kit.
I hope the interior is a bit more revolutionary than its predecessor, the picture certainly looks "airy" (which always felt a little cheap because of all the fibreglass used)

Should this be in the Vehicles section ? It looks so good. Going to be an awesome time riding these buses daily on route 109 next year.
