Yes but I'm not going by TfL's 'dumbed down' blinds - the area where Crown Point is situated is called Upper Norwood and the original blind was 'Upper Norwood, Crown Point'. Crown Point is too much of an advanced name for such an awful part of Norwood. Plus Crown Point can't be in Upper Norwood because West Norwood very close, makes no sense imo. Looking at Maps Upper Norwood is further up Beulah Hill coming onto South Norwood Hill Upper Norwood begins from Crown Point & stretches to South Norwood Hill & Crystal Palace - it also covers an area that used to be known as Norwood New Town. West Norwood is from the bus garage right up to Tulse Hill. Original blinds used to show 'Upper Norwood, Crown Point' which correctly describes geographically where it is. 'Norwood' doesn't exist as a place in South London (it exists in West London) - there is only West Norwood, Upper Norwood, Norwood Junction & South Norwood en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upper_NorwoodI used to live in West Norwood so I know the surrounding areas very well.

Looking at Maps Upper Norwood is further up Beulah Hill coming onto South Norwood Hill How does West Norwood being close make any difference? It is called "Upper" because it is on higher ground, sitting at the top of the ridge which extends from Crystal Palace and looks down on West Norwood. The Crown Point name is no doubt because it is the crown of that particular hill.

Route 137: Clapham Common Battersea Park (think this unofficial if still around) Sloane Square Knightsbridge Hyde Park Corner Marble Arch Route 417: Clapham Park Streatham Hill, Telford Avenue Upper Norwood, Crown Point Knightsbridge turn was abolished when the one-way system was removed some years back. As for (Upper) Norwood, Crown Point, it's always been plain 'Norwood' for as long as I can remember - and I'm going back to the days of RMs working through from Archway on the 137! Anyway, some turning points (as I remember them) 2/N2 Crystal Palace (N2) Norwood Garage (N2) Tulse Hill Station Brixton, Morval Road Brixton Station Stockwell Station Vauxhall Victoria Hyde Park Corner Marble Arch Portman Square 133/N133 Rowan Road, Manor Road (N133) Streatham (N133) Streatham Hill, Telford Avenue (Restricted to when the garage wasn't running in/out) Brixton Kennington Elephant & Castle London Bridge Monument 176 Sydenham, Kirkdale Forest Hill Dulwich, Plough East Dulwich (Goose Green) Camberwell Green Elephant & Castle Waterloo Aldwych Trafalgar Square 415 Kennington Brixton Brixton, Morval Road 417/N137 Norwood, Crown Point Streatham Hill, Telford Avenue Clapham Park Clapham Common (N137) Queenstown Road, Battersea (N137) Sloane Square (N137) Hyde Park Corner (N137) Marble Arch (N137) 432 Crystal Palace Norwood Garage Tulse Hill Brixton, Morval Road Moz

Think I'll finish off the Brixton routes Route 2: Tulse Hill Station Brixton, Morval Road Brixton Station Stockwell Station Vauxhall Victoria Hyde Park Corner Marble Arch Route 3: South Croxted Road (for Gipsy Circus) Herne Hill Station (the Tridents had this so not sure if it still exists) Brixton, Morval Road Brixton Station Kennington Church Lambeth Bridge Whitehall, Horseguards Piccadilly Circus Route 35: Clapham Common Brixton Station Camberwell Road Elephant & Castle London Bridge Station Monument Route 37: Wandsworth Clapham Junction Clapham Common Brixton Station (ultra rare turn, might be unofficial) Herne Hil Station East Dulwich, Goose Green Peckham Rye Route 196: Vauxhall Stockwell Station Brixton Station Herne Hill (ultra rare turn, might be unofficial) Tulse Hill Station West Norwood Upper Norwood, All Saints Church Route 322: Brixton Station Herne Hill Station West Norwood (not 100% sure) Route 345: Camberwell Green Brixton, Police Station Stockwell Station Clapham Common Clapham Junction Battersea Bridge, South Side Route 355: Balham Tooting Broadway Mitcham, Fair Green Route 415: Brixton Station Route 432: Brixton, Morval Road Tulse Hill Station Norwood Garage Crystal Palace Route P4: some of these I'm unsure of Brixton, Police Station Loughborough Junction (ultra rare turn, might be unofficial) Honor Oak Park Brockley Ladywell Route P5: Stockwell Station Brixton Station Camberwell New Road P4: some of these I'm unsure of Brixton, Police Station Loughborough Junction (ultra rare turn, might be unofficial) Honor Oak Park Brockley Ladywell Dulwich Village and Forest Hill are also turns on P4. In addition to that the official turning point is "Brockley Rise", it is not named Honor Oak Park, blinds and iBus State 'Brockley Rise' There is no turn on the P4 named Brockley it is Brockley Rise. Loughborough Junction turns are not rare they are fairly common along with Dulwich Village, turns on the P4 mainly happen these days when severe delays occur, but imo it needs double deckers. Forest Hill is probably the rarest turn on the P4, I've only ever seen it when there are severe delays, I've seen it used at both ends of the route. Also mentioned in my post above I forgot to mention one Ladywell Brockley Rise Forest Hill Dulwich Village Loughborough Junction Brixton, Police Station

The 172 also turns at Bricklayers Arms. But I believe this is unofficial, but the buses still have blinds for this.
Has the 171 ever turned at Brockley Cross before?
