Forgive me if another thread exists similar to this.
I've noticed that some bus journeys can be so uncomfortable on certain roads due to their conditions. For example, Praed Street in Paddington and Baker Street.
I would avoid using the 7 and 205 along Praed Street when they had the Olympus and Omnicities respectively, the road conditions and their rock-hard rides combined is just unbearable!.
What other London roads are uncomfortable using buses on?

What other London roads are uncomfortable using buses on? Streatham High Road can be a bouncy affair on certain buses - fancy building a new central reservation and not bothering to resurface the road afterwards. There was a bus route I used which travelled along concrete roads rather than Tarmac ones - they can be very uncomfortable too.

Parts of the A406 where the 123 runs is or should I saw was concrete... they have started resurfacing the road now. Generally I try avoid any route with roadworks causing congestion...

Every road with speed humps and speed tables. < stares at lunatics in Waltham Forest Council > How long before someone sues for back damage due to being crashed and bumped up and down these monstrosities?

Well, budgets have to be used up before April, hence the silly road building schemes... I hate those speed tables too, especially Islington and their numerous width restrictions too...

Southwark's plethora of road humps are dangerous even more than your average hump - the top of the bump is quite thin so you bounce up & down. Some councils have even placed humps on major roads - not smart at all. Personally, I'd have all traffic calming devices removed from all roads but failing that, at least from roads used by buses.

At least with speed humps you know they're coming....so you have time to brace yourself! But with bumpy roads some drivers can be oblivious to the road conditions, they can also be complacent as unlike speed humps there aren't any signs warning them of bumps, uneven surfaces, potholes etc. At the top of Norfolk Place in Paddington the road is so uneven it feels like being on a Trampoline!, especially when on a WVL due to their super soft suspension. Same goes for Eastbourne Terrace when Paddington Bus lane is closed

I'd nominate The Avenue in Cranford which is served by Routes 111 and 105. Any Speed above 15mph is terrible and even worse when travelling on an SP.

The bus lane on Haymarket was like riding on a dirt track.

The bus lane on Haymarket was like riding on a dirt track. The infamous Haymarket, completely forgot about that one, it was indeed in a right state!. Great Portland Street Southbound is pretty bad too.
