Personally I thought omni cities had the best suspension going not sure where the 'rock hard ride is' obviously hasn't been on a ta or E400.
My nomination is either the keir hardie estate or lower part of free masons road (custom house) The combination of rubbish road conditions and mountain top speed tables means on some buses even sub 5 mph speeds means your grinding the bottom out.

Omnicitys easily has the worst suspension - they look for every bump in the road and even find bumps that don't exist. Not sure what Tridents & Enviro 400's you've been on, nothing wrong with their suspension.

The bus lane on Haymarket was like riding on a dirt track. The infamous Haymarket, completely forgot about that one, it was indeed in a right state!. Great Portland Street Southbound is pretty bad too. Haymarket is (*finally*) getting some attention - new kerbing, paving and a full resurface are going on at the moment. Lower Regent Street has already been done for n/b traffic, the end result on Haymarket will be the same. Most of the 153 is pretty rough going, even with the new buses - much of the route is on secondary roads poorly maintained by Islington and the Barnsbury area in particular is full of speed tables. The Dart Caetanos, not the highest quality of vehicles in the first place, were shaken to bits. In the last couple of years of those darts it was horrific.

As well as horrific, they were terribly slow too. Corporation Street was a terrible road from memory.

Fleet Street on the westbound used to be really bad, particularly at the Aldwych end, not sure what it's like now as i haven't been down there for a while.
The eastbound used to be worse but that got resurfaced a few years ago.

Are you referring to the ride or the suspension?, because the Omnicities indeed have very tough suspension, much like the Olympus, it's the Scania Chassis. They have a great ride though given roads are smooth. Try out an Omnicity and a WVL on a speed bump and see the difference, the WVL's suspension is unmatched.

Streatham High Road, Norwood Junction, Norwood road in Herne Hill, Beddington Lane - All these roads are bumpy and its disappointing that they haven't got around to doing them up considering how long these roads have been in that state

Avoid using Stoats Nest Road!! The 466 buses have to put a lot of strain on their engines by going up there and makes life worse for Restricted buses!

Croham Valley Road in the Borough of Croydon is full of bumps & potholes and coupled with the Scania's, it's like riding over a pebbled beach. The V reg Darts that the T33 had under Metrobus used to feel it as well.

The V reg Darts that the T33 had under Metrobus used to feel it as well. They resurfaced Croham Valley Road and the road is nice and smooth. There still one or two dips along Croham Road but nothing compared to say Galpins Road or Streatham High Road

The eastbound used to be worse but that got resurfaced a few years ago. It was resurfaced fairly recently, I remember because a chap from Conway's told me they'd just done it while some utility company had already started digging up their handywork!
