What's the maximum number of buses to ever be at the H37's Richmond stand at once? It's quite a long stand, could it accommodate a less frequent route alongside too? Particularly as the H37 had a minor frequency cut as part of the 110 restructure. Depending on the length of the buses it can fit around 5-6, I believe H37 is only scheduled to have 2 possibly 3 buses to stand at once.

If TfL actually go ahead with this at such short notice, the local communities will be very angry.
This will affect many people, especially school traffic for Orleans Park School.
It also shows how rubbish some councils are at considering bus passengers. I remember the mess when the R70 was sent down Raleigh Road, there was uproar. Not everyone in wealthy Richmond borough drives massive range rovers or lives in houses worth millions.
Kew Green, Kew Gardens Station and East Sheen Black Horse are marked out bus stands which could be used.

Surely the R68 or R70 could share the H37's stand in that case, therefore no need for any changes?

There is no need for this change, there are alternative stands available & I agree with above the H37 stand has space anyway.

Update on R68/R70 changes. First of I think communication of these changes has been awful and no idea why Tfl have not told anyone about it. I have spoken to a driver saying it will be temporary only due to Manor Circus works and route R68 will be cut back to Twickenham for 10 months with R70 being extended to Kew retail park.

Whilst it seems drastic I suppose this is similar to when the 151 has been cut to North Cheam to avoid roadworks or when the 14/22/74 only running to Putney Bridge when the bridge has been closed. It just feels like a big change really rather then a curtailment.

Can they not cut the R70 to Twickenham and leave the R68 alone The R70 has a higher frequency (6bph) than the R68 (4bph) so the change is probably to lessen the impact of removing a route from the Richmond to Twickenham corridor.

Also the R68 is a bit more backed up by the 33 from Teddington whereas the R70 would leave all of Hampton without a Richmond link.

Well it will give TfL plenty of opportunity to decide if the Twickenham to Richmond corridor could cope without the R68. 😂

But will improve performance of the R68 and make R70 even worse

I'm wondering about bus changes for the ULEZ which would include day and night services and frequncey increase on buses, they did it back in 2003 when the conjestion charge was introduced like 274 extended to Lancaster Gate. I mean like 24-hour routes 123, 158 and 486 aren't new night services as they were night services since the night tube and N32 is just basically N16. I wonder what it's like at Victoria at night, I bet there's nothing but just 24-hour and night routes with no nightlife and only a night tube even no 24-hour trains running from there at night, apart from every saturday night which Southern runs once an hour between Victoria and Three Bridges to replace the Southern bit of Thameslink.
