I'm assuming there might be some sort of update on tfls upcoming changes page later today since today is Monday, hopefully with news about this. They seriously need to remove what's there right now, it hasn't been updated for about two weeks

Update on R68/R70 changes. First of I think communication of these changes has been awful and no idea why Tfl have not told anyone about it. I have spoken to a driver saying it will be temporary only due to Manor Circus works and route R68 will be cut back to Twickenham for 10 months with R70 being extended to Kew retail park. When this change is implemented, I presume that the surplus vehicles from route R68 will be allocated to route R70 for the duration of the Manor Circus works. It will be interesting to see how (if it does) impact the tender negotiations and the subsequent tender result for these routes.

It'll stand at Arragon Road where the H22 was meant to stand. That stand you mention is used on rugby match days only iirc. Doesn't the 290 already stand there? Yes but Arragon Road used to have two terminating routes a few years ago (110 & 290)

It's definitely a bit worrying how delayed everything is getting now - it is reasonably normal for there to be no/few tender results in the summer (specifically August), but it is quite concerning that even the bus changes page on TfL's website isn't being updated now. I would understand if we were at the end of September and we had no tender results but the month has just started with today being the start of the new working week. Who knows we might have multiple tender results this month.

I suspect the Bus Changes page has a regular compiler who was on leave during August. It's the sort of task that even in a big organisation can fall largely to one individual.

I agree with you about tender results, I was referring more to the lack of publicity about upcoming changes this month, such as the R68 cutback/R70 extension apparently starting on Saturday, and the 1/168/188 changes which I believe are going ahead this month.

It's not even the end of the day yet. But I agree that they should update the changes page every week

Worrying for whom exactly? Forum members? Might it just go occur to you that between TfL and the operating companies they have a plan and know exactly what they are doing
