LOTS are reporting that the rerouting of routes 77 and 211 has been postponed until next year. Did it say why? I'd guess the stand still isn't ready.

LOTS are reporting that the rerouting of routes 77 and 211 has been postponed until next year. Perhaps it will coincide with the 211's new contract?

LOTS are reporting that the rerouting of routes 77 and 211 has been postponed until next year. As much as this delay benefits me, will be a shame to wait till next year to see how well the BPS section is used during the Xmas season.

Is the 152 finally getting a PVR increase?? Unfortunately not, and I can't see it being increased anytime soon. It really should be decked, with the New Malden stand altered to allow 10.8m electrics to use it (and that stand is going to become an issue soon when the 131 and 265, which regularly turn there, convert to electrics).

In the 131’s case I hope it’s not a problem for it to convert to BYDs. I do not want my favourite route getting blighted with more of those god awful MetroDeckers 😂

I still wonder if the 262, 321, 333 and 473 will be a break from the City with the new E400.

The New Malden Fountain turn will probably just be altered so buses turn around at the roundabout just like the 213 does. Luckily I don't think we'll be seeing any more of those Metrodeckers, I would expect Electroliners to be ordered for any routes that have issues with E400EVs.

I agree but sadly, the 152 has a restriction on the loop at Pollards Hill which prevents double deckers. Councils nowadays don’t really prioritise this work given the slashing of budgets

According to this month's LOTS publication the 211 will be rerouted to Battersea Power Station from Saturday November 18th, the 77 thus on the same day rerouted via Station Approach for Waterloo Station. A very reliable source isn’t it?

I do wonder that myself, especially where Arriva since gaining Electroliners have had multiple workings of it on the 333 yet none with the E400EVs.

A very reliable source isn’t it? That may be down to TfL pushing back the changes. Edit: This month's publication says they've now been deferred until next year.

Luckily I don't think we'll be seeing any more of those Metrodeckers, I would expect Electroliners to be ordered for any routes that have issues with E400EVs. I severely doubt it will. The council has recently signed off a design to remove the fibreglass fountain and replace it with a nature inspired Japanese style design. The works will potentially add a much needed crossing on Kingston Road adjacent to the bus stops but sadly don’t include any changes to the bus stand, if anything there will slightly less space there. Removing the option of the Fountain stand means more 213 buses have to go through to Coombe Road to stand at Coombe Girls meaning better access to the station.
