But it is using it? The right hand turn from Battersea Park Road to Queenstown Road is restricted to all vehicles. Yes, route 211 passes through Prince of Wales Drive in both directions. But does not stop on Prince of Wskes drive know either direction.

As if the route sequence is completely wrong.

Just got this in my email: Bus route 281 is being extended
Can't see this email? View online
Mobile menu Icon Home Plan a journey Status updates basic image Bus service updates Buses Bus logo
From Saturday 6 July, bus route 281 will be extended to run between Hounslow bus station and Tolworth National Rail station.
Buses will no longer terminate at Tolworth Tower. A new stop P on Lansdowne Close, near to Tolworth National Rail station, will be the first and last stop for the route.
Bus stops E and K on Ewell Road near Tolworth town centre will no longer be served by route 281 and will be closed permanently.
Visit our buses page for more information.
Plan ahead, allow more time for your journey and check before you travel.
Yours sincerely,
Customer Information Team Transport for London
Noooo - it should be extended, but not that way. Extended to Syon Lane in my opinion

Extended to Syon Lane in my opinion Twickenham and Teddington traffic would have ruined reliability. Syon Lane will get a service soon with the E1

With the E1, I thought they would (or maybe they will) consider it running on the A406 from Ealing Common when it's rerouted and extended. Just my opinion.

Gunnersbury to Chiswick Roundabout scares me the most π

Hello, it's my first post!
According to londonbusroutes.net, there was a very minor change to route S4 on 6 July:
"Revised at Waddon Marsh to start and finish at Sainsbury's in Drury Way rather than the tram stop. Tram stop still served on arrival. No change to the timetable other than Waddon Marsh timing point. (040724)"
I assume they meant Drury Crescent, not Drury Way. Probably due to lack of space at the bus stand on Trafalgar Way for both the S4 and the 439.

One for the historians here.
01/09/24 will see some changes in Hertfordshire. The long-standing 386, once one of hte longest and least-frequent Country Area routes, will finally cease to exist. Almost. Likewise the 383 and 384 which have survived from early LT days until now.
The 386 (Bishops Stortford - Stevenage) hasn't squeezed through Cottered for many years having been re-routed to reach Stevenage via Hitchin rather than the other way around. The single journey which still follows the original LOR operated by Richmond's Coaches between BS and Puckeridge via Wellpond Green will remain and retains the 386 number. The main route is split into 36 (eastern half) and 37 (western half) split in but connecting across Buntingford. Frequency is improved significantly using BSIP funds.
The 384 (Hertford - Stevenage) is simply renumbered 38 and the 383 to 38A without any other changes but more long-lasting ex-LT route numbers are lost.
