I wonder if they are going to amend anything or whether they will push ahead with all the proposals. Personally I think the proposed network was absolutely fine and provides many new links.

I think the fundamentals will remain unchanged. However I think there will be some tweaks around the detail of what roads are served in New Addington and where stands are. I suspect TfL may be put under pressure about the 359 running down currently unserved roads - we don't want stinky buses stopping outside our homes! - but I suspect they'll plough on anyway. I'm not expecting any great shocks when the scheme is finalised.

T32 Discontinued (see route 314 for partial replacement). (260315)¶ 18 Jul 15?
Source londonbusroutes.net
(Some may know that the date was previously the 4 April 2015)
It will be interesting to see if this the date implementation for the full New Addington proposals.

T32 Discontinued (see route 314 for partial replacement). (260315)¶ 18 Jul 15? Source londonbusroutes.net(Some may know that the date was previously the 4 April 2015) It will be interesting to see if this the date implementation for the full New Addington proposals. That site has been saying that the T32 will be discontinued for quite a few years now, I wonder if they've released the results, as they were expected by march and it is now the end of march I have checked the consultation entry and it hasn't been updated yet. Tomorrow is the last day before purdah kicks in. Now we either get the tender results and the consultation decision or we're waiting until mid May most likely. Mr M who runs Londonbusroutes.net has most likely had a hint from one of his contacts that the mid July date is the provisional date for the changes. Having a 2 month lead in from mid May is about the minimum necessary (assuming the revised routes / tender wins are resourced from existing vehicles). TfL work on the basis of having provisional dates for change and then switching them to "firm" when they're sure everything can be done in time for the change to happen. There are lots of reasons, not all of them in TfL's control, that can mean a provisional date gets postponed. I think it is important that people don't sit and moan about websites, run by people outside of TfL in their own time and at their own cost, being "inaccurate" or "wrong" when we get no official info from TfL until the last minute. If it wasn't for the fact that there are people with big contact networks who share info we'd have no advance info at all.

April 2015 - Update
We received over 800 responses to the consultation. A large number of these responses raised detailed issues that we are currently working through. As a result the report will now be released towards the end of June 2015, this is once the final decision has been taken as to whether to proceed with the scheme or not (or proceed with modification).
New Addington is served by seven bus routes (including one night bus route) and Tramlink. A further five routes serve Addington Village Interchange to the north west of New Addington.
this was posted today on the TFL consultation page

I suspect some of that will be off the back of local campaigns on specific issues. I believe there are concerns in bits of New Addington about lost links and I wouldn't be shocked if the residents of Purley Downs Road have already painted their "no buses here" plackards. My guess is that there will be some tweaks to the scheme and that TfL are currently working on the business case calculations for those tweaks so that a paper can go forward to the TfL Bus Service Planning Meeting in June. On the assumption that meeting says "yes" then the consultation result will be published.
