I like Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Dance, Afrobeats, UK Grime/Garage and Gospel Music but my favourite artists are Chris Brown and Jessie J mostly. I've been listening to a lot of Hip Hop and Grime lately. This one is old, but pretty good (WARNING: EXPLICIT) Rick Ross - The Devil Is A Lie (WARNING: EXPLICIT) is good too. I know the lyrics may spark some controversy but I quite like the beat in the background

Listened? I brought the album - I brought the On A Mission album when she released that and I enjoyed it a lot, especially the songs Lights On & Katy On a Mission. I decided to buy Little Red and it's even better than On A Mission - Hot Like Fire & Aliyah are my favourite songs, particularly the latter which has another of my favourite singers, Jessie Ware, on My favourite songs from the album are: 5 AM, Crying For No Reason, Still, Emotions, Next Thing, Everything, Aaliyah and Wicked Love. I also like What Love Is Made Of although it's not on the album. She really deserves more success because she's underrated and she also makes really good songs. Yeah, I agree she is definitely underrated. What Love is Made Of is a good song as well

Most of you guys know what I like... I'm a hardcore Swiftie, and proud. I actually own her most recent album, 1989, which BTW has become the fastest selling album since 2002. Also the first platinum album of 2014. Her most recent single, Blank Space, seems to be very popular even amongst former haters, so I honestly think you should check it out. Outside of Taylor, I quite like pop music. I quite like Ariana Grande. I don't like r and b because of the actual music and the usual lyrics.

TBH, I don't usually listen to many AC/DC songs but I gave this a go and this one is pretty decent One song I really love by AC/DC is Thuderstruck - I love the guitar part at the beginning and the really rough vocals of Brian Johnson

There's also this band called Across The Current, they're not that well known but they're quite good. They do a lot of covers. I listened to a couple of Taylor Swift covers and theyre almost as good as the real thing.

Here's a few bits of music I hope people give a go regardless of your musical taste: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgLoLV_8A-I - If you've got a spare 46 minutes, give this a listen. This is the entire Invisible Touch album which is my favourite Genesis album and my favourite all time rock album. It contains my two favourite Genesis songs, 'Tonight, Tonight, Tonight' which is about a person with a drug addiction and 'Domino' which is about nuclear war as well as the Domino effect (a cumulative effect produced when one event sets off a chain of similar events). This is more closer to pop than heavy rock but it is still a fantastic album.

I am a bit (way) old-fashioned as I love jazz fusion, particularly from the late 60s through late 70s era; chick Corea, weather report, Billy cobham (as great a drummer as jimmi was with the guitar), MahaVishnu orchestra,11th house, etc.
I especially like one track from the Maha Vishnu orchestra where they time well the orchestra music with the guitar...almost like going to see opera which takes turns with rock 'n roll.

I like Garage music (a variant of House, nothing to do with where buses are kept when not on the road) The US Soulful stuff, especially from the 90's, the UK Garage stuff was okay but got too much... Also R&B as well

Favourite Band - Oasis. Others include: Feeder, Something Corporate, Queen, Greenday, The Offspring & The Smiths Favourite Song - Big Country, In a Big Country I like most genres of music: Indie, Rock, Punk Rock, Trance, 90's Dance & 80's cheese! Can't stand Hip Hop, RnB and all that tosh off The X Factor First concert I went to was The Offspring at Wembley Arena, moved about 15m and back in the mosh pit in about 2 seconds when they took to the stage, thought I was gonna die! Best gig I've been to is a toss up between Kaiser Chiefs at Wembley Arena or Something Corporate at the Marquee Club which I now believe is the Islington Academy. I've also appeared in one music video - The uk video for Something Corporate's If u c Jordan and been apart of The Offspring's Million Miles Away video which was filmed at the Wenbley gig I went to!

Also like a bit of prog from time to time.
Out of current bands I think Transatlantic are my fav - a 'supergroup' made up of members from Dream Theatre, Flower Kings, Spocks Beard and Marillion.
Its 28 minutes long and this is just one track from their 'Bridge across forever' album but its fab!
(see if you can spot where they switch into 'Highway Star' by Deep Purple MkII).

Vision of the Emerald beyond is one of my top favourite Mahavishnu Albums from 1974. I especially love the closing track (called Back to Earth..or all the way back to earth) where the music slowly blends from fast pace to slow pace with the guitar adjusting with the transition.

It sounds like it kicks in from 04:27. Will listen to some more deep purple tracks as some of it reminds me a bit of Return to Forever.
