There are buses running on the 407 which goes past TC, apparently a police presence was needed on the last strike day. Seems to be quite a few buses running from TH. There was a police car outside TC today, and lots of drivers were standing outside the garage protesting. no buses were parked on the street so TC wasnt full I heard a report on the last strike day of pickets verbally abusing an Abellio driver on the 407 and passengers on the the bus coming to his defence and calling the strikers lazy so and so's and things getting heated before the police intervened.

I don't agree with driver,s been abusive to the fellow colleague because he or she didn't strike but when we drivers get a pay rise out of this, then the drivers who did not strike should not get a pay rise because they seem to be happy with their pay and t&c, before anyone saying that the driver,s who worked because of their financial situation believe me we are all the same more or less,

Now forgive me if I've got this wrong, but isn't one of the whole points of this strike to get a uniform pay rate for everyone? Hmmmm...

...and round here it appears to be...
132, 180, 422, 472, 486 and the Arriva Kent Thameside services : lots of buses 89, 244, B11, B16 : quite a lot of buses 269, B14, R11 : not a lot of buses 51, 96, 99, 177, 229, 321, 401, 469 : no buses
BX appear to be doing better than last time, and they weren't too bad last time, with rather more 89 running.

Hmmmm... yes you are right but if you don't strike why should you gain because of others suffering, Those that don't strike might already be on the top rate of pay and therefore have nothing to gain from the strike. There certainly seems to be quite a lot of buses running today.

Even if half of the routes don't run the tfl and bus companies will still lose millions so its definitely worth it, in my area their is hardly anything running,

(I love being a devil's advocate )

It's not really difficult to prepare for a strike day anyway just put your name down for a rest day and you've lost no money. For me losing a days pay is less stress than I would have being a hero and driving say one 86 out of 10 on the route and the stress with loadings and extra traffic that and the fact you don't get anything extra from the company I'd rather man the picket.

There were no 200s early this morning (fortunately for Phipps bridge (and surrounding) there is the tram and nearby 152).
