The first three Metroline MMC's have been delivered to CELF, TEH2074, 2075 and 2077. Unusually they had there registration plates visible which showed they are going to be 15 plate, so wont be entering service until March at the earliest. ADL don't cover up plates normally, they're most often delivered registered or unregistered, the only buses I know of that ADL have delivered covered up were the 109s MMCs. I wonder if the 415 batch will also be 15 plates, except 2514 of course.

The Abellio livery suits it best, they look somewhat sleeker than other operator variants I disagree, I think metrolines examples look the best, followed by Go Aheads. I forgot to mention I was referring to Abellio's 61/12 reg examples, the Euro6s look plainer. I know you still haven't changed your mind but just putting it out there!

I had the opportunity to travel on a Stagecoach example of one of these today. I like it! The 2001-era Stagecoach interior has aged well and suits the Enviro 400MMC very well. The bonded windows remind me of their older TAs.
A couple of things I don't particularly care for:
The air conditioner seems to switch itself on and off completely depending on whether the engine is running. I know the engine needs to be running to power the compressor, and also generate enough electricity to run the fan motor through the alternator. It just seems strange to repeatedly have a high level of white noise, and then silence, and vice versa. I'm not sure if other newer buses behave this way. I tend to only travel on the older ones.
Also I don't like the substitution of actual seats for the plastic ones toward the front on the lower deck. The Gemini 3 has those as well, though. It's one of those modern bus things. The funny thing is, the Gemini 3 has actual seats at the back of the lower deck, as opposed to the plastic ones that have been common since 2000 or so.
