Tower Transit have two 51 reg DMs for the 339. The result for that route is due with the new contract starting in November. Whether it's retained or not expect them to leave this year. Shock horror more old buses to leave London

I very much doubt it, nothing wrong with those Tridents on the 269, 636, 637, 638 and 664, TB have looked after them and are not over 13 Years old so is irrelevant to this thread. Those Tridents will probably remain until the end of the contract in 2018, the 47 will likely to get new buses on the next tender, would not surprise me if its Tridents moved to Bromley as they are newer, with 2 Remaining for the 621 & 660.

Get them while you can is all I will say. We have been saying that for months bordering on years and they are still surviving lol The dual door E200s earmarked for the P13 are finally being phased into service so they really are on a stay of execution now!

Will it gain full allocation? It seems 8302-8310, 8318 have been withdrawn & 8328 & 8329 are at WL. 484 now has two spares, which makes sense because it is the only Single Decker Route at WL.

I'm with TL1 on this one, I can imagine the existing Tridents will stay with some topping up of newer examples as and when they become available, e.g. off of the 47.

Don't understand the difference from what I said? It's the same with bexley's buses. When I was in the workshop last week there was close to 10 Orpington buses there along with various other GAL buses from other garages. LDP207 (51) is on 225

I caught PVL 169 on route 541 today (Fully Blinded) - This bus is in pretty good condition considering its age Think this is my favorite old bus. Much better than those 2002 WVLs.
