Will wait for a official announcement, but I can see SE keeping one of the Dartford routes under there operation to keep up driver knowledge for there mainline drivers when services divert via Dartford, which in my opinion I can see them keeping services via Sidcup also this could have the Vic-Dartford services running via Sidcup instead of Bexleyheath. And keeping SE/TL as the only operators to run beyond Dartford also I do wonder if this could lead to changes to TL services so TfL can simplify routes via Greenwich/Woolwich. Also this could lead to the stopping services via Kent House to all run to Orpington again and have TL run 4tph to/from Sevenoaks via Swanley. Will be interesting to see what changes could be made I think 4tph to Sevenoaks via Swanley would be a bit excessive, I think 2tph and 2tph to Orpington is about right with 4tph Victoria to Bromley South with 2tph continuing to Orpington.

Is it official that LO are taking over SE? I’ve been searching across google and found nothing.
I don’t think they would take over the Gravesend services, I thought LO just wanted the rounders, the Dartford terminators, Sevenoaks via Chislehurst, the Hayes line and the Vic-Orp stoppers.

At the moment but as TfL like to simplify its routes and this was an idea they had it could happen in the long run

Looks like the long awaited Williams review will be published - track & train expected to be merged into one organisation known as Great Britsh Railways, with Network Rail subsumed. Then Overground-esque concession style agreements for each area. Much speculation about the future of South Eastern metro & Great Northern too.....

They probably won't take over the Mid-Kent Line as they'll convert it to the Bakerloo Line by 2035/2040.

NEW RAILWAY ROUTE IDEA: a line connecting the Bexleyheath line and the North Kent Line. It would branch off the Bexleyheath line west of Falconwood, following the path of the East Rochester Way. It will call at Blackfen and Blendon, before crossing over the Dartford loop line south of Crayford, with an overbridge around 200m south and 50m west of the station. It will have no stops until the only larger station on the route, a station situated directly west of the Darent Valley Hospital. The station will be called Darent Valley Hospital. The line would merge on to the North Kent Line around 150m west of Greenhithe.

Services would include Charing Cross to Gravesend Metro stopping at all stations, and a Regional service from Charing Cross to Ramsgate via Lewisham and Faversham, both operated by Southeastern. The regional will call at: LONDON CHARING CROSS Waterloo East London Bridge Lewisham Kidbrooke Darent Valley Hospital Gravesend Strood Rochester Chatham Gillingham Rainham Newington Sittingbourne Teynham Faversham Whitstable Chestfield & Swalecliffe Herne Bay Birchington-on-Sea Westgate-on-Sea Margate Broadstairs Dumpton Park RAMSGATE

Why is there only 1tph on the Maidstone East Line now? It was 2tph up until a month ago or so?

Why in there only 1tph on the Maidstone East Line now? It was 2tph up until a month ago or so? It was reduced to hourly because of the decline in usage due to the covid situation just as the stopping service between Victoria and Bromley South was reduced from 4 to 2tph. Presumably the original services will be reinstated at some point?

I'd wait for an official announcement. What is SE nine magazine anyway? It is to do with Eltham/New Eltham postcode SE9 area. It's a local mag in Eltham that has a habit of tossing not-quite-accurate stuff on social media just to be "first". Is reasonably well-connected but would take with a pinch of salt.

To me the two most useful things you could do on Southeastern infrastructure wise would be to untangle Lewisham (unlikely now that buildings have gone up around the station) and to link Northfleet and Ebbsfleet stations together.
