Looking at that document it strikes me that the author probably failed his/her GCSE English Language, so don't be surprised if a 2 tph Sunday service CX - DT via BZ has been omitted. I had that covered : I'm afraid as regards Sunday services it is true : the Bexleyheath line is proposed to still be 2 trains an hour. Thanks for confirming that. Yet Stone Crossing gets 4 tph. Totally bonkers!

Not massively knowledgeable about trains, but I guess the 377s will be for mainline to release 465/9 and 466 to Metro?

Not massively knowledgeable about trains, but I guess the 377s will be for mainline to release 465/9 and 466 to Metro? Possibly but no one knows yet. Apparently South Eastern have been through a massive rescheduling exercise to avoid the need to spend £2m on new sidings to accommodate the newish trains. Therefore quite what will operate on what service grouping is not entirely clear nor is which specific services will gain longer trains. This is because there are a number of physical constraints on platform lengths that prevent certain formations serving certain stations. This is from a very informed on London Reconnections blog. I'm pretty clueless about South Eastern's services other than having an impression they're hopeless. Not entirely true obviously but they haven't the best of reputations and some of their service frequencies are dreadful.

The original plan for the 377/5s was to make Victoria a 100% Electrostar station by taking over networker runnings on the Darford - Vic and Orpington - Vic runs. Now however I don't think this'll be the case.

Plenty of 377/5 about on the Maidstone East branch now. Had a ride on 377 504 from Vic to Ashford yesterday. Not all have SE branded exteriors yet, but this one did. The upholstery was very badly worn - I trust SE will replace the seat covers before too much longer. Even so, a big upgrade on 465/9 which I hope the locals are enjoying. Returned to LB via Tonbridge on 375 714 which was much more comfy.

I can't say I've noticed to be honest, as you mentioned some of the 377's are a bit 'down at the heel'.

Personally I find the general ambiance superior, but that's a subjective matter I guess. However the 465/9 is nice enough, provided SE keep them in clean condition, which they seem to, at least compared to other Networker variants.

I generally perfer networkers over Electrostars but the general cleanliness and ambience of the 375/377s I find quite nice, also having a table is a big bonus. Generally speaking I wouldn't want to be on a Networker for more than 40 mins however I could happily spend a few hours on a 377/375. Metro style Electrostars I despise however - 376s in particular.

I like the 378s, although I know they would go down like a lead balloon on much of the SE network. I want a train that is comfortable, well designed and well looked after. SE 376s are none of those.
