I just realised with the two PVRs being identical I see GAL putting in a very strong bid for the 173 with the 202’s vehicles Remains to be seen though if RR would want G3 vehicles at a predominantly ADL garage.

There's a substantial Wright presence with the 5, 15, 101, EL1, EL2 and EL3 so I don't see the Gemini 3s being completely out of the question. RR are also well accustom to B5LHs from the 135 as well.

Ah yes I forgot RR maintain the EHVs. I did also forget about the whopping amount of G2’s as well lol, I was only in MMC and classic E40D mode. Yeah I see them being a real contender for that route now 😄

Arriva is also now with a chance of retaining the 173 on existing buses by using the Gemini 2 HV's from the 319. Also, the 173's PVR is actually 16 as it shares a bus with the 673 and the 673 journey currently turns into a 173 once it reaches Beckton

yes it will be i check on Tfl who runs your buses page and it was on the page. I'm struggling to see the point of this route? The 280 is currentlly serving Wandle Road as the replacement for the 118 so why introduce an additional route that will only serve a very small market. Waste of money really when a couple of extra peak hour shorts on both the 118 and 280 would be more useful. What's the 118 diversion?

Rather taking a right onto Wandle Road from Morden Road it is diverted directly up Morden Road to rejoin at London Road. Same routing as the 201.

TFL perm changes suggest new route 718 will come into play from 30th Nov 2019 whilst routes 280 & 118 are on diversion. Guessing this bus route will be operated by GAL? yes it will be i check on Tfl who runs your buses page and it was on the page. Will be run using 1 bus from AL.

E217, E218 and E219 are the next two 127 E400's to head to Hants and Dorset Trim for a refurb, complete with Metrobus adverts . Glad to see the 127's refurbs progressing nicely but at the same time I personally would've waited until the 202's results were announced yesterday before beginning the refurbs as the WHV's could have been used on the 127 instead of the E's, saving any Euro VI upgrade costs. Ah well, hopefully some of the 202's batch will be retained to replace the 2006 E's/WVL238/239. WVL240 is no longer taxed so I assume this has now been sold on

A local blogger pointed out a couple of months ago that MG does not have planning consent as a bus garage. In any case the area of Morden Wharf is being developed for 8,500 homes over several years. This suggests MG does not have a long term future.
