A number of points that need clarifying of have been raised.... Firstly TL will start taking the ADL hybrids from the week after next. They will initially receive 32 for the 54 and 75. Because of the 47 being 'end on' a small number of drivers will initially be trained to operate 2 workings a day (MF) for 2 weeks. With no hiccups, the deliveries will then start to speed up. The buses will be used at TL and PD for driver and engineering training and then to provide the additional vehicles for route 136 until the 54 and 75 commence. During this time deliveries will continue in to TL, PD and BW of E400 and Volvo hybrids (in to PD). The deliveries of Volvo and ADL hybrids in to PD will displace E400s for WH and RM, Scanias to WH and tridents to TL to replace the hybrids on the 136 (as they will be required for the 54 and 75). The Volvos will primarily be allocated to route 53. The hybrids in to BW will go to route 205 to displace the Scanias to the 277 to displace tridents around the company/for disposal. The deliveries of the NRMs for route 8 will also displace tridents that will return to the leasing company and make BW trident free, along with RM. By about the same time hopefully. PD will then receive the rest of its hybrid allocation (actually the 205 order) later in the summer/early autumn. Why the change of plan? This allocation gives the 205 it's hybrids earlier, provides a comparison of performance between Euro 6 and Euro 5 ADL hybrids at BW, Euro 6 hybrids and Euro 6 diesels at TL and Volvo and ADL Euro 6 hybrids at PD. Just a few vehicle moves to have planned and keep track of over the next 6 moths or so..... Do you know the route allocations for the Volvo and ADL Hybrids due to arrive at Plumstead, if I've understood you correctly that is?

Also is the 53 to get a Full Hybrid Allocation in the End? If So where will its E400s go to?

Just a few vehicle moves to have planned and keep track of over the next 6 moths or so..... Wait, I'm confused. So if I understand correctly: - 205 will still be getting E400s - 277 will get the ex-205 Scanias - 53 will get a full allocation of Volvos as opposed to a partial one of E400s - Ex-53 Tridents will be sent to RM, WH, and TL(for the 136?)- 96, 122 and 472 will still get E400s - ALX400s will be disposed of/sent back to lease- 54 and 75 will get E400s(?) BUT BEFORE ALL THIS: - 136 will get a partial allocation of E400Hs for the duration of the deliveries coming into BW and for training etc. This will happen until the 54/75 contracts start. Then that's when all the fleet movement and stuff will happen(?)

Ok just read all this so basically from the original 73 E40H ordered fro PD,30 to BW and 32 to TL,which leaves 11 for PD plus 32 Volvos for PD,so the 96,122&472 will use the displaced 11 plate e400s and 41 e40h once the rest are delivered in the summer with a few volvos as i think the 53 has a pvr of 27 and 32 volvos coming to PD.

What does it mean Tridents will move if following hybrid deliveries and PVR reductions elsewhere. Does it mean they will move in for a temp allocation on the 136 till new buses are delivered? Hasn't it been said that there are 12 new E400s on order anyway. I guess for the 261 increase and 1 for the 208 extension to Lewisham B Stn, the 275 looks like the PVR is increasing by 1 plus about 8 needed for the 136. Im glad the Tridents wont have 54 an 75 on their blinds as I want them to stay on the 47 as they are allocated to that route and just because it serves Central London does not mean they should be relegated to the 54 and 75. The long Tridents would be unsuitable for the 75 anyway The route has been tested for TA vehicles and is no longer an issue - However, as has been posted on here, they will not have blinds for the 54/75, which will only be carried on the E40D and E40H buses.

To be fair, it wasn't an issue in the past particularly as there were appearances of LV class Dennis Lances on the 75 and they are over 11.5m in length.

So a performance comparison between various vehicle types was the main driver behind this plan?
