Question for all the drivers on here, interested to know which London routes you have driven over the years.
I'll start off, London routes driven:
161 54 320 R5/R10 464 R8 208 61 269 314 261
636 637 638
I've also driven buses in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and driven trams in Edinburgh.

I've always fancied a crack at some 'proper' London routes. But I think the novelty would quickly wear off.

Quick question (not on topic, although related): How many rounds do you drivers normally have to do? Given there's no major traffic problems or anything. I'm sure it varies from route to route, right?

I'm sure it varies from route to route, right? Yes it depends entirely on the length of the route. Obviously we are restricted to 5.5 hours driving at a time so it depends on how many rounders on a given route you can fit into that time. Just to give you an example, an average duty on the 208 (fairly long route) would be around 2.5 to 3 rounders, and on a 227 (short route) you might do 5 or 6.

I'm sure it varies from route to route, right? Also depends on day if the week high or low frequency, peak journeys, tine it starts ... For example late shift mon-fri on E10 one duty (115) will do 2 and a quarter round trips on the 1st half then do 3 round trips but another duty (117) will do 2 and a quarter 1st half and 1 and a half second. I've got the pdf for the duties if I wanted to sit and work out the average...

11, 37, 42, 44, 49, 77, 77A (now 87), 88, 118, 133, 152, 155, 156, 163, 164, 170, 185, 188, 196, 211, 219, 239*, 270, 280, 295, 337, 344, 345, 355, 507, C1, C2, C3, C10, G1, N11, N44, N77 (now N87), N133, N155 Almost did a 36 for the Notting Hill Carnival journeys but was needed elsewhere at the last minute. A pity as I was going to ask for a 02 or 03 reg PDL Trident as they had the same blindsets as the WVLs. * - now the 170 between Clapham Junction and Victoria
