Looks like 228 is using mostly DEs today Would metroline get fined for using such old buses on a newly run route?

The 92 has every single type of DD available at G on it today bar the SL8 VMH. It has 13 reg TE, 13 reg TEH, 15 reg vwh, 65 reg vwh, 67 reg VWH, 18 reg VMH and 68 reg VMH

Would the 326 need all the dme from 440? Surely not as 326 has some DME already so 440 could be part DME and part DLE. Only 7 DMEs from the 440 would be needed to make the 326 fully DME. I thought that you wanted the 440 to be fully DLE. Oh no, I did state some DME in my original post. I just think DDE on any of the SD routes at BT capacity wise are not suitable.

440 regularly sees DLE couldn’t some of its DME go to convert 326 fully to DME and 440 gets part DLE allocation Where would the DLEs come from? Spare DLE from 223/228

Couldn't something else from PV move into ON like 483 or 297 and allow for 306 to move into PV

I can't see V closing, it's a well located garage, and could take on routes from various other garages if more work is won elsewhere. For example if they were to successfully bid for the 90 or 222 which are due for retender, the 110 or 419 could move to V. If anything I think RP would be more likely with potential issues electrifying the garage, but even then RATP might look for an alternative site in that area if needed. At most perhaps RATP might consider mothballing V if the E3 is lost, but with the tender result nearly 6 months overdue now I suspect it may have been retained. However if the 211 is retained, it could move to S anyway for a common fleet with the 148 - in turn the 72 could go to V sharing DLEs with the 272/283. I would certainly expect RP to close in the next couple of years, it is in the middle of the Old Oak Common development, and I believe there is only a few years left on the lease for the site anyway. Of the routes at RP, the 228 has been lost and I highly expect RATP to lose the 266 to Metroline, which leaves the 18, 220, 224, 258 and 440. The 18 can move to X, the 220 to S (with the 72 moving to V), the 224 and 440 to V, and the 258 to SO (why is it at RP anyway?). Can't fathom 224 being operated by V but then again wouldn't think of 258 at RP either

I am not too familiar with RATP but maybe could be the following: -route learning 148 maybe it could move to V to replace 9 -when 9 is lost there could be a closure of V and there is route learning of 211 , 72,272 and 283 could go to RP with 211 going into S and E3 probably lost on tender -route learning of 211 for 9 drivers who want to stay at V please note these are just my thoughts and I am not an expert of any sort. But the 211 is also on tender and could be lost. Fair enough didn’t know that

Hopefully it runs during half term too 😂 It would be interesting to see people use it for half term for DD 206 visuals There are two VMH on the route currently, one of them unblinded

I still don’t understand why H11 is seeing a lot of DDE’s especially when H17 and 223 have left RATP

The 13 reg tend to be on the 18 mainly for some reason, 220 still sees alot of ADE and ADH. RP are extremely relaxed with DD allocation They only seem to be strict with the 258 due the deadruns to Watford using the motorway. Totally forgot about 258 randomly placed at RP, I don’t understand why 79 is not at RP instead especially now it goes stonebridge.

What is the 220 & 266 officially allocated? It seems to be a mixture of Diesels and Hybrids according to LVF. The 220 is allocated the 13reg VHs, plus a small number of 16reg G3s. The 266 is a mix of ADEs and ADHs. The 13 reg tend to be on the 18 mainly for some reason, 220 still sees alot of ADE and ADH. RP are extremely relaxed with DD allocations.

If TfL ever extend the 223 to Oxhey Lane do you think that it would be moved to HD as it would be a closer garage? HD doesn’t really have the space to accommodate the 223. The extension to Oxhey Lane still doesn’t disadvantage WJ as can still reach that terminus via Overground to Headstone Lane station. Also I reckon WJ would do driver changeovers at wembley Central using overground/bakerloo from willesden junction station
