As predicted Not confirming anything, just stating that they are numerically the highest six at BX.

3 Es are going to BX to release WVLs for the 12s. The plans were made before the 171 buses were delivered to NX with Q blinds in. Southlondonbus: the original plan was: 436 to be WVLs and WHVs 453 to be Es and EHs 12 to be Es But for whatever reason management have changed their minds and diverted the Wrights buses to the 12, hence the shortfall there, and they have agreed with TfL that the 60 plate WVLs from the 422 can top up the allocation. Just to clarify.. and to prove that even geniuses make mistakes ;d SIX Es will go to BX to release WVLs for the 12. I said 3 as I saw details of the 436 batch, three will also come from the 453 batch. So, E202-207 will go to BX (dont know which WVLs will go, prob highest numbered ones). The 436 is recieving E208-228 and EH6-20. WVL's 380 - 385

Or just give BX the sh*t like they normally do. I'm getting to quite like the E's now I'm driving them most days. I'll have to re-adjust to WVL's when I go back to Q (i.e. keep turning the wipers on) Dont worry i do that all the time!! And were i normally drive PVL's and WVL's, when i get an E bus i always go to flick the indicators on/off to find theres no stalk there!!! Doh!! ;D

Aparently E174 has a part livery lol, it has a grey skirt but only underneath the buses roundel on the offside. I havent got a pic of it but there is a pic on someones facebook aparently. I beleive that is an accident repair using stock body panels (already painted with the ggrey skirt). E174 is otherwise allover red.

The rear doors will have a sensitive edge fitted thet will prevent them closing when obstructed, as soon as the edge hits an obstacle it causes the doors to open up again. On newer buses an alarm will sound in the cab if this occurs. Assuming of course this system is working properly on the vehicle concerned. I beleive its a PG9-able item!! And an immediate PG9 at that!! Indeed, this item is not elegible for a Delayed Prohibition!

Most refurbed ones like for the 213, 321, 363 and 45. Some on the 155 and 401 have also been done but I dont think all of them. All of the batch for the 155 and 401 have been done, some just havent been refurbished yet. The engine upgrades are done seperately by Volvos in Enfield. I beleive the 06 WVL batch at Q are now in the process of being done. In comparison, the extra BHP is definately noticable.

I can't really see why they would bother, then why not re-number the VP's also. Wikipedia is usually wrong, but if it happens don't think it will change my life really so not too bothered. According to Wikipedia the VWLs have or will be renumbered to WVLs is this true? I think its safe to say that the ETB codes have been adopted into the GAL system. If they were to change, they would have done it when the refurbs were being done.

According to Wikipedia the VWLs have or will be renumbered to WVLs is this true? not that i'm aware of. The different code actually helps as the VWL's are longer than the WVL's at 10.6 metres, the WVL's are 10 metres on B7TL and 10.4 metres on B8TL chassis. But Go-Ahead being Go-ahead, nothing's a certainty!!
