Regrettably looks like it. No great shock given the intent seems to be to disrupt the election campaign. I am sorry to say that I will not be surprised if something much worse happens between now and the election or even on election day. Some very serious questions now have to be asked about the police and security services intelligence gathering. 3 horrendous incidents in a short space of time is not looking good. |

It's unreal - I grew up in the 80s / 90s and see lots of IRA scares but never seen so much in such a short space of time! I was up London passed the bridge - its makes you think. |

Apparently, according to a local person who is ex military, there was sounds of gunfire lasting for a number of minutes.

Sounds like it's a serious incident and I'm afraid it's just not possible to prevent any random nutcase doing something like this. I crossed London Bridge myself earlier today. Train services through London Bridge are currently suspended, I'm not sure about the tube. |

Anyway this is getting just ridiculous and also quite sad to see what is happening.  |

Reports of attack in vauxhall When I went to the shop to grab some dinner after the Champions League final, four police vans shot past me with sirens wailing just after 22:30 so I suspect they were going there. |

Without speculating on what has happened as it doesn't help, as others have said, it isn't surprising after all the events that occured lately. Regardless, I hope everyone is safe and ok.

Absolutely terrible incident. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in this awful attack.
Police now confirm this is a terror attack. They have also said that the Vauxhall incident was a separate stabbing and is not connected with the tragedies at London Bridge and Borough Market.
