Got fed up seeing routes 241, 300 and 325 all following each other so decided to check the timetables and they all depart Prince Regent at 30 and 32 then every 12 mins! Why can’t TfL ask operators to work together to even out buses?

Why can’t TfL ask operators to work together to even out buses? I understand that operators design the timetables but there does not seem to be any requirement to co-ordinate with those of other routes to create an even interval between buses. Some night routes are integrated with day route timetables as an exception.

It's been more than 4 weeks since the changes, and there is one issue in particular that has prompted me to write about it.
I've only taken the 366 once since the changes, quite simply because there haven't been any buses at Beckton for me to board. On the night of the changes, I denied a 30 minute waiting gap as the 23:00 departure at Beckton bus station got curtailed. I was fearful but not dreading that luck, tried to view it as unfortunate. However as I've passed through Beckton in the peaks on average every 3 days this past month and waiting 12 mins average before departing, the situation has unfortunately not improved.
The 366 had no stand restrictions at Beckton which obviously had to be revised once the 101 and 104 moved in. Due to lack of stand space at King George Hospital, the 173's stand is strictly for the route and the 366 drew the short straw, essentially having its stand time between termini flipped. Now there are 2-3 buses forcing their way into a stand for one bus on Roding Lane South; not ideal. Even less ideal is the stand time at Beckton, less than 10 mins, to accommodate other routes terminating there. But it doesn't accommodate the traffic woes the 366 faces into Beckton which warrants a generous stand time, and that leaves buses on the 366 liable to be pulled from Beckton.
Took a [2nd] trip yesterday around 5pm and the 366 seems to be coping fine in East Beckton Triangle Park (Sainsbury's). However with the 262 pulled back to Gallions Reach, it only takes a southbound curtailment to East Beckton, Sainsbury's to leave passengers stranded waiting omly on the 366 to resume their journeys. I can't confirm more curtailments been happening but on the Beckton end, 100% the 366 is less reliable as a result of these changes.

Noticed the 474 is gradually getting busier on the revised section via Keir Hardie after a slow start. The 304 seems less of a success and not really carrying many passengers to and from Custom House but assume it’s used well on the former 104 section and Lonsdale Avenue. The 241 is not really being used in huge numbers towards Prince Regent which is understandable as the route is duplicated by the 300 and 325 from New Barn Street.
Interestingly the 147 seems much busier from Canning Town towards Prince Regent recently when you would think passengers would have moved to the Elizabeth Line.
I think TfL needs to work on its publicity more when changes take place as passengers are left to work things out for themselves.

Yes the station is very busy and still feels odd we have such a frequent service to central London!

Any update on the Royal Wharf works for the 241?

Any update on the Royal Wharf works for the 241? No - even when its done it will be another pointless extension that will probably not really generate many extra passenger journeys. The only plus is passengers from the last 330 stop will at least have a bus for onward journeys but just a shame they are not towards North Woolwich where most are likely heading.

Is there space at North Woolwich? I never suggested a bus terminate at North Woolwich my point is there are poor onward connections from Silvertown where the 330 terminates. It would have been better for example if the 330 ran to City Airport where passengers could catch a 473 or 474 they can do this when the 241 is extended but would mean travelling to Prince Regent then double back which is not practical.

Yeah I did find it a bit weird to have the 330 essentially terminate in the middle of nowhere. Maybe that's something TFL look at in a couple years time

It should go to City Airport or at least to the Connaught Bridge stops and turn at the roundabout

Is there space at North Woolwich? There is plenty of space at North Woolwich. It's just a shame TfL never thought a bit more about the Elizabeth Line changes especially as the original consultation started around 2017! They could have reviewed things again before implementing the changes including a better terminal for the 330. I am still trying to work out why we got so many routes towards East Ham from Custom House but if you want to travel to Stratford you need to walk some distance to a stop or change buses.
