On the 200 you can walk down Church Road and rejoin the route at Miles Road whilst it does it's loop round Phipps bridge. Also can rejoin by dashing between Haslemere Road and Phipps Bridge Road, which I had to do once when I left my school bag on the bus (your post just reminded me of that childhood incident of mine). And there is the double run at Copse Hill as well

If you jog a little you could catch a 332 if you miss it at Brent Park Tesco by going over the bridge (Technically not leaving the bus as it is the first stop however i thought to type it anyway). Also another example could be the 187 towards finchley road from central middlesex hospital, if you catch any bus towards willesden county court maybe excluding 487 (fine stretch involving 487) you could catch the same bus. (Again not leaving the bus as its the first stop) 206 towards kilburn park if you miss it or get off at Robson avenue there is a small side road opposite and again if you jog you can catch it from "the oaks" bus stop shared with the 6. This one might be cutting it fine and is also based on the bus not taking the shortcut. (If anyone frequents Brent park Tesco they would know what I'm talking about) you could leave a 206 towards wembley park or a 224 towards wembley stadium at the ikea and then jog through the car park and catch the same bus at Brent park Tesco.
This one I'm not sure about but since 266 has gone to metroline it could be more likely as there would not be a changeover at AS but there must be away that you could catch the same 260 towards white city at North Acton by catching a 266 that is at the same bus stop at the same time e.g. At Harlesden Tesco (forgot name of stop) i get off a 260 and catch the 266 and then at north acton (Wales farm road) I catch the same 260 again. Must be cutting it fine and depends on lights etc and traffic,

358/208 at Bromley, as long as you bolt it through the market.

I just thought of a funny one catch a 224 from St Raphael's towards wembley stadium at Brent Park Tesco alight and catch a 92 as far as wembley central cross the road and wait for your 224 again and ask the driver if they remember you and maybe let them know that you waited especially for them (and maybe let them know that you let 4 or 5 of their fellow 224 drivers go past not to mention the 83,92,182,223 and 483)

You could probably get on the same 358 three times. Orpington Station to High Street, 61 or 208 to Bromley Common, the same 358 Bromley Common to Shortlands, 227 to Clock House station and then the 358 once again to Crystal Palace.

If you time it right, you can take the R68 from Twickenham to Teddington Lock and beat the 281. However, the R68 runs every 15 minutes (wasn't expecting that, thought it was every 12 ). You may also be able to use the 33 from Twickenham to Teddington (Broad Street) and beat the 281, as there is a timetabled difference of about 3 minutes (weekday between the peaks). Last year's diverted 65 was 5-10 minutes faster than the 281 between Twickenham and Teddington Lock.

You can do this on the 434 between Purley and Whyteleafe Stations, whilst the 434 serves the Hail and Ride section between Kenley and Whyteleafe you can get a 407 which takes you a more direct route. This depends on the traffic on Godstone Road though, which can be terrible at times and the 434 can run quicker since it avoids it.
The K1 between Surbiton Station and Kingston. While the bus goes into a residential area, you can get other routes such as the 71 that can beat it into Kingston

With the 366 at Beckton Triangle Retail Park you can get off at the stop before Sainsbury's and catch the same bus across the road while it navigates Sainsburys. It is also possible to do that Redbridge Station (Towards Falmouth Gardens Only) as well with getting off at Stop RC on the A12 then use the subway and get on at Stop RB in the Station Forecourt while it navigates the roundabout.

Do we also dress up as a clown and get on the bus at the second stop and go "SURPRISE" to the driver? I do wonder quite what bus drivers would think if people did any of the moves that have cropped up in this 4 page thread. And I do appreciate the irony of my comment given I started this whole thing off with a post elsewhere on the Forum.

Walk from Roundshaw to St Helier Station. You'll probably get there before the S4 does anyway

H13 of course is a favourite for this wheeze. You can get off at the terminal at Northwood Hills St Vincent's, walk through the woods to the other end of the route at Ruislip Lido, which takes about 15-20 minutes beating the bus easily. I have a funny story about this route. Last week I was speaking to the driver at St Vincent's and he told me one time he arrived at St Vincent's to find the previous bus parked there but no driver. At the allotted time the driver went to the Lido and found the other driver waiting there! Apparently he had gone into the woods to answer the call of nature and got lost!! He found his way to the Lido but couldn't get back to St Vincent's. Needless to say he is not with Sovereign buses now.
