Probably would need to sprint to that make that same bus. It’s a 20 minute walk and the 223 is timetabled to do that in 10 minutes I don’t think maps realises that you can cut through the field to save time. Also traffic is often prevalent in Kenton which would slow the route down. 20 minutes is cutting through the field

A 196 driver once drove straight past me at West Norwood station. I caught the 432 behind to Brixton and the same 196 pulled in behind. The 196 driver alleged he didn’t see me despite my arm being fully outstretched!

With the 191, you can walk from Brimsdown down Alma Road to Scotland Green Road & get the bus that is at least 2 or 3 buses ahead of the one that has started in Brimsdown.

Pretty much anywhere on the 386
- get off a Blackheath royal standard, do a leisurely walk to Clarendon hotel. You will easily get the same bus if not the bus before - get off just before Corelli road, do a leisurely walk to weyman road while the 386 goes off on a tour of the side streets

I wouldn't be surprised if you could walk Corelli Road to the Clarendon quicker than the 386 can do it. And you might also be able to do Woolwich Common to Tescos quicker too.
