As the title says it is essentially getting off one bus then walk to couple of stops on the route and catch the same bus as the you got off earlier on the same journey.
The idea by @fahad has inspired me to create this thread.
I will start off with mine and that is W12 where you can get off at Hainault Court (Towards Walthamstow) and rejoin the same bus at Whipps Cross Roundabout as W12 does the loop around the Whipps Cross Hospital. The same is possible towards Wanstead.
What other examples that you can think of.

You could do it three times on the 224 towards St Raphael's as it has three double-runs - one at Alperton, one at Twyford Abbey and one at Brent Park Tesco (OK the latter is more of a loop than a double-run but it works anyway). Not sure what the driver's reaction would be though On the K5 towards Morden you wouldn't even need to walk a couple of stops. You can get off at Cromwell Road bus station, wait for the bus to loop through Kingston town centre, and get back on at the same stop.

The R6 and B14 are two that spring to mind.

The 258 and 186 is a clear example, you can completely avoid Harrow Bus Station is you get off at Harrow Town Centre (Stop J or M) and rejoin the bus at Harrow Town Centre (Stop M or J). This could save you 5 extra minutes if you were on a different bus.

On route 265 you can get off a Roehampton Lane, wait for the bus to finish the loop through the Alton Estate area then catch the same bus again to go towards Tolworth

One can easily get off the G1 at Clapham Junction, wait for the next 319, travel on it to Streatham St Leonard's Church then wait to rejoin[1] the same G1 bus towards Streatham Green Lane. Same procedure can work in reverse, getting off at St Leonard's Church and catching the same G1 at Clapham Junction.
[1] - Would actually be interesting to know the quickest lead time the 319 can gets between those two points

Get off at Herne Hill Station, wait for the next 3, take it to Gipsy Hill, wait for the same 322. It also could work towards Clapham Common, get off at Herne Hill Station, get a 37 to Clapham Common, wait for the same 322, and ride it two bus stops to it's terminus. Can't see anyone doing my last theory however.

The 469 along Eynsham Drive. You could get off at the stop before the Sewell Road/Finchdale Road Loop walk along Eynsham Drive 2 stops and pick up the same bus. Quite why anyone would do that (other than to mess with the driver's head) is beyond me!
The 472 - take bus from the first stop outside Thamesmead Leisure Centre. Get off at the next stop (stop D)and walk back to the roundabout to stop F on Bentham Road. On a good day you will actually be 2 buses in front of the original bus you boarded.
I'm pretty sure I could run between Woolwich Arsenal and Cutty Sark faster than a 386 😂
Another one that someone else has pointed out in a previous thread is the H13. A walk across the woods between Ruislip Lido and St Vincent's Hospital will get you between the two terminus quicker than the bus.

111 from Hounslow, you can take the 81, 222 and H98 to Harlington Corner then take the same 111 (often the bus after the first 111)
281 from Twickenham, you can take the 33 to Teddington and make the same 281

If one misses the 472 leaving Thamesmead Town Centre, you can easily catch the same bus by walking to the Gallions Reach Health Centre stop just across the roundabout.

You can get off the P12 at Peckham Rye Station, then get the 343 to Merttins Road and get back on the same P12.

If you miss a 287 or 368 at Barking Station, some quick walking to Sunningdale Avenue via the Shopping Centre would allow you to beat the bus, our you could take an ELT from the station to Sunningdale Avenue provided the bus is not too far behind.

R68 to Twickenham, then go on a R70 to Hampton and then get the same R68. R70 from Hampton, the avenue to Hampton school. Then walk to Percy road and then get the same R70.

492 from Gravel Hill Close to Crayford is the one that immediately comes to my mind. Also 99 over the railway tracks at Slade Green.

Another one is getting the 171 Bellingham-bound to Elephant & Castle, then board a 172 to New Cross Gate then catch the same 171 again. You could probably do the same by getting a 136 to Peckham from E&C.
