(Duplicated from Buses on diversion) Implemented from 1630hrs till 2000hrs every day till Friday 14th August 2020 319 Curtailed to Beufort Street 1 bus per hour to Sloane Street 137 Hourly service to Marble Arch. All other buses curtailed to Battersea 452 Curtailing at Sloane Square 360 curtailed to Pimlico 4 out 5 Buses 44 Curtailing 2 in 3 at Battersea Park. 11 Curtailing at Victoria 3 out 4. 170 Buses running to Victoria. Majority are then running light from Victoria to Battersea via Vauxhall Bridge - Battersea Park Rd to LOR. Hourly service ex Victoria. I wonder whether in November we see 137 cut to Sloanne Square and 44 to Battersea Park. The 44 is very well used to and from Victoria, and the 137 provides a link towards Marble Arch and Knightsbridge from Battersea/Clapham, either of them being cut would be unlikely/a bad idea

But if we can afford to have 1 bph to Marble Arch for 3-4 months, it begs the question whether this could become permanent.

I wonder whether in November we see 137 cut to Sloanne Square and 44 to Battersea Park. Amongst other issues that would put an enormous strain on the 452 south of Knightsbridge.

The long term closure of the Bishopsford Road Bridge ended today, that section of road reopened to traffic this afternoon which will 'soon' allow the diverted 118, 280, N44 and N133 to revert to their normal line of routings (and the temporary 718 to end).

Thats good. Can't be long away now till back to normal. As it hapoend it wasn't the worse diversion and Bishopsford Road has probably found the 718 to be quite useful to get to Morden without having to walk to the 80 or back to Rose Hill.

What's the difference between this thread and the 'Buses on diversion' thread?

Oh okay.
I've got one from yesterday: X26 (and others like 213) diverted around the Worcester Park area due to flooding at the station on Wednesday night. X26 was diverted between New Malden and North Cheam via A3 to Tolworth, A240 to Stoneleigh, A24 to North Cheam. Not sure about the others in that area

I think it's more for each specific turning such as this in Brentford:

The annual Lord Mayor's Show returns on Saturday 13th November, having been cancelled last year for the first time since the Second World War. As far as buses go, this means that buses will be diverted or curtailed in the City of London in the Bank, St Paul's, Fleet Street, Blackfriars and Embankment areas from 7am until around 4pm. lordmayorsshow.london/closures/buses-divertednote: the map is based on previous years and does not take into account recent changes to the 23, 242 and 388
******************************************** The Lord Mayor's Show is an annual tradition in the City of London. A new Lord Mayor is chosen each year and is required to "show" himself to the people of the City, as well as to swear an oath of allegiance to the monarch. This year's Mayor is Alderman Vincent Keaveny. He will be accompanied by a procession of over 6,500 people, 120 horses and a number of highly-decorated "floats" - this is a legacy from the days when the show was on the Thames and the City Livery Companies travelled on decorated barges. The Mayor himself will travel in the golden State Coach, which dates from 1757 and is the oldest ceremonial vehicle in regular use in the world. The procession can be viewed in the Bank/St Paul's area between 11am and 12noon, and will return via Embankment and Blackfriars between 1.15 and 2.30pm. lordmayorsshow.london/

The 118 and 280 as of this evening are now back to line of route along Bishopford Road, the 118 thus back to serving Wandle Road once again.
