If you could put 3 routes back along Oxford Street which ones? The 6, 10 (despite being withdrawn) and the old 13. Those routes got really good usage along Oxford Street. If I could I'd also put the 23 back.

I suppose that with the government's efforts of Crossrail, the 25 should terminate at Holborn Station because it gets good use down to there. It's ridiculous at the moment because it terminates just over a stone's throw from Chancery Lane station however it's just about fair enough that you'd appreciate the bus going down. Although by that point you might as well stand it at Holborn, ignoring the fact the 8 is using the old 171s stand "temporarily" it should be free to take the 25 when (if ) the 8 returns.

It would be an excellent idea. Would the N25 still trek over Tottenham Court Road & Oxford Street and terminate at OC or would there be no need and instead have the N25 discontinued and the 25 24 houred.

If not, then where would the first stop be on the 25? Museum Street?

If not, then where would the first stop be on the 25? Museum Street? There are cases of traffic, but Oxford Street would often be the biggest traffic hog. I think their intention was to get the 25 out of the Holborn area in preparation for the Holborn Station works, although goodness knows when that is going to happen now. Yes the first stop would have been Museum Street as is currently the case with the 8.

Once the 8 returns to Tottenham Court Road (If it does) I'd say extend the 25 to where the 8 is currently terminating so passengers have forward connections with the 8 or 98. But sadly I can only see the 25 being cut even further in the future.

Interesting choices. Do agree with the 137 as the first stop down Park Lane is a walk from Oxford Street. Probably 23 to Aldwych or Trafalgar Square and the 8 back to Oxford Circus for sure so atleast the old 25 route can be done with one change (25 and 8 changing at either Bow Church or City Thameslink) and would restore a Bank to Oxford Circus link. The 8 should really have gone back if just to maintain a proper city to west end route.
73 and 390 swap didnt bother me too much as I think the 94 and 148 are ok to NHG and the 390 maintains the 73 between Kings X and Victoria and Angel still has the 38.

He is nothing to do with the mayor. quote author=" LondonNorthern" source="/post/562918/thread" timestamp="1586597774"] He has also peeed off many Uber drivers who do not want to vote for him due to them not being exempt from congestion charge anymore. Khan knew the money from central government was being withdrawn, but yet he blames them and talks about cuts etc. When it was Ken when he had his battles with Tony Blair as Labour made it difficult for Ken initially because he went as an independent. They would not give ken control over the Underground, so Ken said he was going to boost the bus network and make the buses affordable, frequent and reliable. Ken was against the PPP on the Underground IIRC and it was the Labour government that pushed forward with it, it then eventually failed as we know. Ken set at measures aimed to improve buses for London, then we had Bob Kiley as the commissioner who also help improved things massively for London. Now we have Khan and the sad excuse Mike Brown.
If Sadiq was to go would Geoff Hobbs? Geoff has a very Sadiq-like attitude and I would wonder if he would go as well[/quote]
