235: Withdrawn between Feltham and Sunbury Cross. Extended to Leisure West via Browells Lane. Extended from North Brentford via route 65 to Ealing Broadway. Converted to double deck. To act relief for the 65. Or: 235: withdrawn between Brentford County Court and North Brentford. 435: New route running between Ealing Broadway to Feltham Leisure West via route 65 to Ealing Road, route 235 to Feltham and route 90 to Leisure West. Using double deckers. Linking Ealing with Feltham and act as relief for the 65. E1 or E9: extended from Ealing Broadway to Richmond Bus Station via route 65 to Richmond. To act as relief for the 65. So what does Lower Sunbury get instead then? I didn’t think that far. But that’s what I went or and decided to split the route have the 235 run between Sunbury and Brentford, County Court and have another route with double deckers run between Feltham and Ealing Broadway.

Route E4 Running between Ealing Broadway and East Acton. Via: The Broadway High Street Ealing Green St Mary's Road South Ealing Road South Ealing Station Ealing Road Brentford High Street Brentford County Court London Road Twickenham Road West Middlesex Hospital South Street Richmond Road St Margarets Roundabout St Margarets Road St Margarets Station Richmond Road Bridge Street Richmond Bridge Hill Street George Street The Quadrant Kew Road Richmond Station Kew Gardens Kew Gardens Station Kew Bridge Chiswick High Road Kew Bridge Station Chiswick Roundabout Gunnersbury Avenue Gunnersbury Lane Acton Town Station Bollo Lane Bollo Bridge Road Acton Lane Winchester Street Acton High Street The Vale East Acton Lane Old Oak Common Lane Brunel Road Purpose: To link Acton with Richmond. Ealing with West Middlesex Hospital. To act as relief for the 65. There used to be an E4 around Acton / Chiswick back in the day... to fill a 25 year gap in the routes would be good Only thing is it hits all the rush hour / school run hotspots... unless it was branded 'The Crawler' (Best Impressions could add a cartoon baby to the vinyls) it may not take off

I think his argument is that the E1 should be extended via South Ealing Road to assist the 65. Is there a stand at Brentford Half Acre because the County Court could always be used if not Not sure how easy the left turn out of Half Acre onto the High Street is for the E400H's on the E1 for its return to Greenford LT's turned at Brentford County Court have no issues navigating the corner heading back towards Hammersmtih

Crossrail in West London is way behind schedule Ealing Broadway Station was due to be completely rebuilt 2 years ago all that's been done is a new staircase down to platform 3 so any bus changes can be put on hold except 65 does need help urgently .I still think 235 extension would cover it but if not E1 to Brentford via South Ealing as i suggested before. E10 was due to go to Chiswick dont know why that was stopped

E10 was due to go to Chiswick dont know why that was stopped Platforms 2-4 have been extended to accomodate 9 car trains. I hate being diverted via the temporary footbridge at the far end of the station when there are works to demolish the current footbridge which puts me off using GWR to get home.
A 235 extension would give Ealing and Hounslow a much more direct link than the E8 provides. Extending the 235 may make it too long but I feel it would be useful, the only pain would be a double run via Great West Quarter which may put some off from using it.
The E10 was going to go to Chiswick Business Park but TFL changed their minds and decided to extend the 70 there instead

If such an extension of the 235 is warranted, surely you would just remove it from Great West Quarter completely so it doesn't suffer the barrier breaking as it has on multiple occasions?

The e10 extension would have been a decent shout if Gunnersbury Avenue wasn't such a bad traffic hot-spot 😏 regarding 235,id be surprised if even they extended it to Ealing making it doue run through Great West Quarter still 🤔

I would remove it from the Great West Quarter but on the flip side the residents need a bus service, I think they'd be too snobby to let double deckers come in though, having read the 235 consultation report its a wonder the extension went ahead

Having a third bus service going to rural Sunbury is probably not that important in my view.

E10 was due to go to Chiswick dont know why that was stopped Limited stand space at Ealing might make it easier to extend a route from Ealing instead. TfL seem to favour extending the E10 to Osterley for some bizarre reason. I would opt for the E9 over the E1, as the frequency is probably better suited for the extra capacity needed in South Ealing and beyond. If the E1 was extended, I would expect a frequency cut to avoid over-bussing on the extended section. That would impact the current route which needs that reliably high frequency.

I wonder if the 112 extension via Madeley Road ever goes ahead whether the route will retain its current stand or will have its stand relocated to Haven Green, the latter would release some stand space which may make things a little easier for buses curtailing at Ealing Broadway and rail replacements
