Now you need an engineering degree!!

The 120 has always been busy but TFL ignore it. Also Metroline have run the VWHs into the ground by using them 24 hours per day.
As soon as they finish on the 120, they use them on the 297 or N7.

How l8ng will this situation go on for No school means more leisure passengers, and weather was also good today. I hope every single upstairs seat was taken, but that's probably optimistic given that this route has a huge issue with people not going upstairs. And if they do they always ignore a few seats .

The VWHs actually behaved today (now yesterday at time of posting ), as the 17 buses that came out in the morning were the same 17 buses that finished 😄 . On most days there are usually 1-2 subs that happen when they go back to the garage for driver changeover or break, more if they're struggling. I think utilisation isn't that much higher compared to buses that only get used on day routes, as the first of the 11 to be allocated for the 297/N7 will be those that finish earlier in the day, being rotated over a few days. I remember last summer they really struggled as most days in August had at least one VW out, but they did have loads spare as the 62-reg that became spare and moved to HD for the 186 were still there (as the 31 took the 11-reg from the 105).

They tend not to go upstairs but prefer to stand in the aisle. It's a deeply unpleasant experience on this route.

I presume WH is a bus type? What difference does that make? If a bus is full and standing its irrelevant what type it is
