I often travel on the 120 between Lady Margaret Road and Lampton and every time it gets full and standing from Southall Broadway all way to Hounslow woth people standing downstairs upstairs and in the stairs.this is made worse at Heston by the current diversion of 111. It's a most unpleasant experience and the route needs serious help. Maybe new route Southall to West Middlesex Hospital via Norwood Green Heston Lampton Corner Kingsley Road Isleworth St John's Road. This would ease loadings on 120 and give new links frim Southall to WMH

I think that would work well. The does get overwhelmed at rush hour and this is not helped by the B5LH engine taking up loads of room. Every time I'm in the viccinty of 120s, I see them packed to the door and from my limited experience of using the route it really does need support. I would add some additional peak hour journeys on the route, perhaps only running Southall-Hounslow, to help the route out. I think a new Southall-WMH route could work but it may well prove superfluous off peak.

Or extend route H20 a bit further north? Especially now that the Civic Centre has closed, it is carrying fresh air from Hounslow Town Centre northwards.

H20 will probably be cut back to Bell Corner or diverted to Blenheim Centre. The main problem with 120 is between Southall and Hounslow full and standing

There are no plans to change the H20. Not everything can terminate in the middle of town, there isn't the stand space.

The main problem with 120 is between Southall and Hounslow full and standing Hence why I suggested introducing shorts between the two

120 was meant to have a slight frequency boost at one stage to line in with Crossrail 🤔 seems to have either been scrapped or postponed for now

120 desperately needs either increase in frequency or another route to help its always fully packed. I suggested a couple of new routes has anyone else got any other ideas?

I was in Southall today waiting for the 95. Before the 95 came, a 120 did. The route was very well used but as the bus acccelerated off it sounded rather sluggish. Is this just a one off or do many of the 120's VWHs sound like this from carrying such heavy loadings?
