Wonder if there will be a major campaign to get these self combusting buses removed from service

Wonder if there will be a major campaign to get these self combusting buses removed from service I think that's a bit over the top. Any bus can catch fire. The Enviro400H is one of the most common bus types in London, roughly 130 of them at PD alone, yet you very rarely hear reports of them or any other bus catching fire. The issue isn't restricted to these buses and is nowhere near bad enough to be looked into.

No, not any bus can catch fire, it is only poorly maintained ones For a fire to start, need heat, a fuel (something that burns), and oxygen. The hot parts should not come into contact with something that can burn, that only happens when a hose falls off, a hose splits because wasn’t replaced when degrading, or somebody spilt something like oil or flammable brake or hydraulic fluid and didn’t clean it up. Obviously in the summer, more likelihood of a part being very hot, so less tolerance for faults not to have consequences

They still seem to be running the N1 and MK1 shuttle services from Northampton and Milton Keynes Central stations to the track as there's timetable and fares info for it on their website for this years race.

Are Stagecoach London helping out Midland Red at Silverstone for this weekend's British Grand Prix? All confirmed now of course but yeah, they were advertising for drivers to go up there this weekend. I’ve got plans this weekend but I’d love to do it one year
