LTs and Smart hybrids from Bow have moved up to Silverstone in the last few days LT239 and LT262 appears to be two of the LTs that will head up there. They’ve been spotted resting at sullivan’s SM base I've seen a photo on Twitter of an assortment of Stagecoach London buses parked up at Northampton garage. Buses are also on loan from Stagecoach West.

Why don't Omnicities appear on the 122 anymore? There are Omnicities at PD, where the 122 is based, and the 122 doesn't enter the Central London ULEZ

Why don't Omnicities appear on the 122 anymore? There are Omnicities at PD, where the 122 is based, and the 122 doesn't enter the Central London ULEZ Omincitys were rare on Route 122 anyways as well as Route 99. There have been periods where Omincitys have strayed on Routes 99 & 122 quite frequently then you won’t see one in a long time. When they were first introduced at PD they were on Route 53 daily without fail at least 2-3.

I thought there were some clearance issues on the 99 and 122 with them being 10.8m. Might be why they have generally been kept off them.
I saw a WH one on the 330 today. Not seem one before.

Scania's appear across all WH double decker routes. Sometimes you go weeks without any on a certain route then lots appear. Before the 473 was lost it had a crosslink to the 330 so used to see a daily Scania working.

Has something to do with the traffic Islands in Slade Green Omincitys are 10.6m. DWs are the same length as them too.

The 122 has no clearance issue, the 99 does in the Slade Green area as I asked that question at a garage visit many, many years ago. The overhang of the Omnicity is the main offender DT 11 I thought the Gemini2 DW's were 10.4m? An Omnicity should be 10.8m when the overhang is taken into account?

Your right about DWs I always thought they were 10.6m. Even parked next to a T bus they are definitely slightly longer. Omincitys states on London Bus Routes.net they are 10.6m, but of course can be wrong.

Buses are also on loan from Stagecoach West. I was at Silverstone yesterday and indeed there were a lot of London buses there, notably Enviro400's and OmniCities from a wide range of garages including PD, NS, RM and TL. I believe they were mainly on Park and Ride duties and from the buses I saw up close were both 10301 and 10302 there as well as TL's 10349. I do wonder if TB sent any buses up there this year? I also got a snap of 15073, which to my surprise hadn't been used in service since Christmas Eve despite being blinded for the 677! I think it had no ticket machine however so has presumably been withdrawn. Stagecoach also had a wide range of other divisions helping out this weekend, including Cambridge, Cheltenham and Bedfordshire. Enviro400's and NRM's are being used on the Paddock shuttle service too and during the race you can see them on TV passing behind the Wellington Straight.

I think the original EuroIII OmniCities were 10.6m (same length as the N94UD OmniDekkas), but this increased to 10.8m from EuroIV onwards. I've seen second-hand OmniCities advertised by Scania themselves as being 10800mm long. Lengths listed on londonbusroutes.net are approximate.

Anyone know why the 161 nearly always has 100% MMC on any given day, while other PD routes have a mixture of different buses?

Anyone know why the 161 nearly always has 100% MMC on any given day, while other PD routes have a mixture of different buses? As mentioned up the thread the latest contracts are more specific about vehicles to be used. PD previously used to be more any bus will do. This is no longer the case.
