Never gonna happen, but the return of the Omnicity to the 425 would just be 100x better than anything else they decide to put on it

Never gonna happen, but the return of the Omnicity to the 425 would just be 100x better than anything else they decide to put on it I think the combinations of Scania’s E400H classic and Smart Hybrids would be phenomenal. Would ruin it though if they decide to put any regular E400s that typically appear in East London everywhere.

Indeed, although it seems that pretty much every 197**/198**/101** E400 has been in use in the last day or two on their respective routes (I notice 10151/195 have had a long-term disappearance). 15001/002 too have disappeared, alongside the ex-262/473 trio which headed down to PD, among other Scanias here and there. I guess the E40Ds down at TB are an interesting case and are certainly fueling speculation hah. I'd like to see WH shift some LED blinded 110**s over to BW for the 25/425/N25 - but not long left to wait anyway!

I agree, though I don't mind putting the Stagecoach diesel E400's on the 425 temporarily as it least it makes the change look more authentic than sending any loaned buses from TT.

Saw 120 on the 257 swing around into Stratford bus station with vivid and newly painted red paint all round. Somewhat surprised 10123 is unrefurbed - perhaps there wasn’t enough time? Looks shoddy with the pink splashes of paint still on the front. At least they’ve made use of the rear with an ad. Pleasantly surprised to have seen the ADL/BYDs with GAL have windows on the staircase. Hopefully SLN don’t cover it up with adverts - unlike ML did on some?

Does anyone know what the full allocation for the 425 will be for tomorrow? 12300-12303 (4 buses) are almost certain to, 11070-11074 (5 buses) have not been seen since June so I'd hazard a guess and say they might as well. However that just makes 9 buses. I think if more Scanias are reinstated at PD you might be able to salvage another 5 or so E40Hs from there making 14 buses. There's a few random E40Hs flying around that haven't seen service for a while, but I imagine they do want to allow leeway to allow other services to return to full schedules over the next few weeks, especially if the Abellio buses aren't expected to be in service until August the 425 will be in a similar state. However on that note the 205 is still on Sunday service so might be able to donate buses in the short term but I doubt it can until August as I expect that route to resume full service - or at least Saturday very soon. I'm also not too sure on what service the 425 will be on tomorrow, currently it's on special schedule which seems to be a variant of the Sunday one however I wouldn't be surprised to see an increase to Saturday tomorrow. Should it remain on Sunday then it'll only require around 11 buses so Stagecoach should be able to manage with the 14 I guessed earlier.

I wonder if the two ex PD Enviro's recently re-acquired will also be used as I don't believe they've re-entered service yet?

Stagecoach new flattest fleetcard is out, just 1 page on this though. Stagecoach seem to have upgraded their entire fleet apart from the 174s E400s and 296s E200s, even all the Scania have been die including the 365s ones. Isn’t the 256 and 365 to be allocated E400s upon next contract?
