Those 174 E400's are definitely staying at RM for the 256 & 365 for another few years, which 19712 recently refurbished with the new logos, its just the Euro 6 upgrade has been delayed due to obvious reasons recently and the same goes to the 11reg E200's at NS on the 296.

The 425's MMCs have been registered on LVF and BLOTW:

Or at least new logos?

The 425's MMCs have been registered on LVF and BLOTW: I wonder if these will have an updated interior, as the order was placed later than the 25 batch? Or at least new logos? That batch for the 425 was ordered at the same as the batch for the 25, so I'm not expecting much anything other than having new logos, I wouldn't be surprised if they turned up with the old logos and become the last batch of new buses to Stagecoach (across the UK) to have the old logos.
The BYD E400 EV's for the 173 & 174 is the batch there is a possibility that we would see if they have a new interior for a London spec buses or they would still use the current interior with just the new logos seeing these are part of this year orders whereas the buses for the 25, 323 & 425 are all ordered some point last year.

I think the official order must have been placed, but I'm not sure if they were spec'd at exactly the same time. A considerable gap seems to have been present between the 25s batch and the 425s batch in production while if they were ordered at the same time I'm sure they'd have just been built as one huge batch instead. Further evidence I have to this theory is the fact the 25s buses turned up with mirrors and they then had to be retrofitted with cameras suggesting that the specification at order was for mirrors which should the order have been placed later the buses would likely have rolled out with camera from the get-go. The buses also turned up with 69 plates for whatever reason and had to be re-registered, very weird for a contract commencing in May. My guess is that what's happened is at the time of the bid going in Stagecoach must have been fairly confident of a win, there's a cut of almost 100K from whoever the highest bidder was, and their accepted joint bid was also almost 500K lower than their lowest bid which was the lowest overall. Obviously sourcing 35 buses is quite a task and they might have wanted assurance of an on time delivery, especially as should a loan be required they'd have needed to loan WHs which is another completely new type to them. Therefore I think what's happened is Stagecoach effectively spec'd out the 25s buses to ADL and effectively put them on hold - this quite commonly happens in other transport industries such as the airline one so I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen here in many cases. So obviously once the 25 tender was announced, the order was firmed with an order for a probably less expected 425 tagged onto it as a new order. The 25s buses also rolled out with the old logo, despite I'm sure the new branding was revealed before the order was made public, or would have at least internally so they could be spec'd accordingly. Obviously this is all just a guess We'll probably be able to tell if this is the case judging by if the 425s buses roll out with the new logo, and potentially an updated interior.

Much more likely ordered in one go, but with 2 distinct delivery batches as contracts started many weeks apart That way get any volume discounts, but don’t need to start paying for the later ones many weeks before contract starts

Several have entered service inbetween the London batches.

New font on an LED blinded 425 spotted this afternoon, complete with normal (old?) Clapton sub-destination. See below (11036) Also, spotted Megasightseeing LX56EAK with half a roof as a relief bus at the Ilford bus stands - supposedly for the 25/425 drivers but I would hope for the other SLN routes terminating there too? That would be mainly for the 167, 179 & 462 drivers as those routes have their meal reliefs at the Ilford terminus

Those anyone know why TFL always be messing with the black on these MMCs because 12437’s bumper is red It won't be TfL for this as in this case its Stagecoach that has done that and to be fair 12437 doesn't look too bad as they least kept the logo on the front. Also the Go-Ahead MMC EH's that ended up having the front like this looks far worse than 12437 seeing GAL don't tend to bother replacing the front logos on their buses especially the ones at RR on the 5/115 that are like that.
