I am hoping that the 86 will finally have a full runout of Electroliners by the end of the month!
The contract started last year and still....
Realistically TFL should set longer dates but that is just me suggesting.

If they start contracts when the new buses enter service it would mean extending existing contracts. That wouldn’t really be practical especially if a route is changing company.

Lol I am very pro Diesel indeed, but that does not change to reality that the new buses will enter service. No rush tbf but it is dragging so long like the 108 too. Basically I have a personal travel plan which guides me when travelling so I prefer the routes converting to Hybrid/Electric to do so for me to create alternative routes. I have reassessed my plan and it will need to stop by 2026 at the "very latest" as it will almost be impossible to only get around with Diesel buses.

Someone more in the know could probably say but afaik they haven’t made much progress there, if they’ve even started at all

So today, I made my final ride under Stagecoach operation on the P4 and I purposefully plumped for a garbage can with 36312 being my steed. This bus wasn't great, it struggled with any incline and was not helped by the driver driving at no more than 15mph the entire way presumably due to the unusual quiet nature of traffic along the route. I can honestly say I won't miss these heaps and I'm really looking forward to seeing the and using the 65 reg SE's, having rode these on various routes over the last year and having no issue with them. I will miss Stagecoach operation on the route, who for the most part, did as good a job with the route as possible but I certainly won't miss TL's tendency to lump the route with multiple single door single deckers which was a particularly annoying trait - I will also miss the dead runs through my area and seeing P4's parked up on Effra Road early mornings and during the nights now that NX will likely dead run via Camberwell instead. Go-Ahead do have a lot to live up to and I really hope they don't ridiculously pad the timetable or turn the route more often than necessary which Stagecoach was good at gauging. A couple of other things: 36311 & 36312 must be the last two buses stil wearing majority ELBG seating - www.flickr.com/photos/vjaska/53657410597/in/dateposted-public/ www.flickr.com/photos/vjaska/53658503503/in/dateposted-public/ www.flickr.com/photos/vjaska/53658503573/in/dateposted-public/Shameless plug of recent transferee 36397 in Brixton - www.flickr.com/photos/vjaska/53658630999/in/dateposted-public/ www.flickr.com/photos/vjaska/53658274566/in/dateposted-public/

A lot worse than the seats on a old style Nissan Micra.

Wow! This was definitely by far one of the quickest that Switch has delivered buses, usually they're horribly slow.

Looks like the 379 has just been moved up "must tick off route" in terms of the temporary Enviro's and the incoming electrics

I may be wrong but I was under the impression that the problem on the 174 is the charging facility at RM rather than the buses themselves? Yep that's right, but I suspect the enhanced battery capabilities, warranties and range of new models available now like the new E400EV vs the BYD models will likely make deployment of new EVs more economical over a 7 year contact term than the existing ones for a route like the 174, especially factoring battery degradation. The 174 I believe already requires quite extensive vehicle rotations for charging purposes. I sometimes can't help but think we jumped forward a tad too quick with EVs on some individual, intensive routes. Perhaps a more tailored approach may have been better. Blame your mate Khan for that

Does anyone know why LVF is starting to show the 277 going to 'Dalston, Forest Road' and not 'Dalston Junction' anymore? Has a change happened in the route or is it a simple rename? Or is the route temporarily curtailed?
