Does anyone know why LVF is starting to show the 277 going to 'Dalston, Forest Road' and not 'Dalston Junction' anymore? Has a change happened in the route or is it a simple rename? Or is the route temporarily curtailed? More of this Oh for goodness sake TFL!! This is a pointless destination renaming. Someone trying to prove their job

Or is the route temporarily curtailed? A rename and no doubt will most likely change again in a few weeks time (Probably back to its original destination).

37579-37583 all out of use. 2 E400s and 2 E400 MMCs on route 165 although E200 MMC is being used on the 256 strangely! 346 is using 499/165 buses all but 1. Pure speculation here but with the 86 seeing more electroliers introduced and all of the 346 have been gradually coming off route over the last week, could it be possible the 165 is double decked using buses from the 86 with the 165 buses going to route 346 which has proven it can take an almost full allocation of 10.9m MMCs.
Also worth noting that 19804-19808 all have not seen service today and like the 346 batch have gradually come out of service from NS routes this week.

Are AW and HK getting wired up/already wired up for the W5, W11, 242, D7 and 277?
I understand if chargers for D7 and 277 come later since the buses are still not here yet! Honestly makes me wonder how much longer it could take.

Converting the 165 to DD seems to be a rather contentious idea on here but I don't think it is required. Some buses do become full during morning and afternoon peaks but I'm not sure this warrants it to convert it to DD. If anything a route restructuring would probably be more appropriate. The route doesn't go anywhere unique and always follows other routes. Personally I find it inefficient to have 2/3 routes all running together all the way from Hornchurch/Abbs Cross Lane and Rainham/Cherry Tree Lane. 19805 is being converted to open top for City Sightseeing with 19804 also being earmarked. Apparently there will only be extra 2 buses this summer as that is what has been agreed amongst the Stagecoach / City Sightseeing / Groupo Julia trio. Im not sure there are plans to increase the amount of new buses above 2 but at this rate, the main RED route will be running on a reduced frequency in comparison to last summer (every 7.5m instead of 6m). Even last summer on a 6m frequency was seeing buses being fully filled up so I'm sure it would be in the best interests of Stagecoach to source as many buses as possible. If plans change then I'm sure they would use buses coming off of the 86 then use the remainder of buses to remove the remainder of the scannias.

Honestly makes me wonder how much longer it could take. It takes as long as it takes! I imagine their are lots of parties involved in installing infrastructure. There are also delays from power companies who also have to upgrade infrastructure for increased demand. I imagine work has or will start soon at HK. The 242 buses have started to arrive but doesn't mean anything as the 86 batch have been here for months.

Your point is not wrong, but the vehicles currently on the 242 are loaned and would probably need to go back to their actual routes soon, it would make sense if works at HK are currently undergoing so that they can operate the 242 with it's actual allocation unlike the 86 which is just a contract renewal and the vehicles aren't needed elsewhere, meaning they could almost take as long as possible... I can see the 86 probably fully converting by the Summer hopefully and then we will see some further changes then!

Well actually yesterday I saw about 5 vans parked outside the back of HK that were for some sort of electrical company. It could be for one of estates around there but it would be nice if the were for electrical infrastructure at HK.

The 346 has always been cleared for longer buses - they'd regularly turn out under Arriva and the former 497 routing isn't the most difficult to navigate with longer vehicles.

I think that’s quite likely to happen. I’d be very surprised if we didn’t see of the new 242’ Electroliners being broken in at TL on the 199. Or even the 86 if the infrastructure gets working soon
