15076 has came off the 96 a few hours ago The end of the Stagecoach Scania OmniCitys? Looks like it especially with other Scanias on the 96 that came off service this morning didn't come back later in the day with at least one of them that was out in the morning left PD to be decommissioned at WH.
After 15 years of Stagecoach/ELBG Scanias in London it has now come to an end (unless one suddenly reappears), as much as they are uncomfortable to ride, I'm going to miss having them for the all the character, quirks and power they had while riding them over the years.
A fitting end to the Scania’s by having them out on the 96 as one of the very last routes (one with loads of open and hilly roads at that. Not enthusiastic about them but did find them to be quirky buses in design and power indeed.

Just my own thought
What are the chances of the 55/N55 transferring over to Ash Grove if retained for a next year start?

Are refurbs not just a fresh coat of paint and new seating? Never been a heavy overhaul. I personally think the grey seating is awful. They did one of the former HCT MMCs at HK then stopped! I am hoping they have had a change of mind about future refurbs for this batch. Are there any routes that are, or soon will be, allocated fully grey seated buses? 135 and 309 should be on that list, not too sure if the Streetdecks on the 97 will receive a refurbishment soon along with the E400 MMCs to be introduced. I believe WH or PD did a refurbishment on one of the E400 MMCs but they didn't include grey seating on it. I've used the grey seating on the 135 and it's not so bad but it definitely makes the seat a lot thinner and feels a bit weaker too, I am not that much of a fan of it and prefer the batch that still have the Tower Transit moquette on it, even though I dislike the interior of those buses to an extent!

I rode an E400MMC with grey seats on route 122 recently. I thought the seats were comfortable enough.

Not sure if it's just different on the Gemini 3s then, I haven't been on an MMC with the grey seating and looking at the routes in my area I don't think I will be anytime soon lol.

The 97’s StreetDecks should be receiving a refurb fairly soon, they’re starting a brand new contract after finishing a five year term

The W19 seems to have most of its allocated E200s refurbished with grey seats already so may well be one.

Is it confirmed that the AW infrastructure for chargers is working and in use properly, and that the 379 and 616 are not being powered using a portable charger? The W5's entire batch has entered service at different garages but isn't on its allocated route yet. Unless the W5 isn't moving, will the route continue to be operated from HK and wait until HK is wired up for D7, 277 and 242?
Usually with routes becoming electric, things holding it back include, the batch not arriving on time, or the fact that the garage isn't wired up, but for the W5 this isn't the case at all unless there is an external factor such as the fact that they cannot locate drivers who will be driving the W5 route.

I like vehicles. Buses, trains, cars, all of them. I made a song out of Stagecoach too.

It's the end of Scania Omnicities in service (2008-2024) for Stagecoach and the last route was on the 96 at the end of May. Im gonna miss them. I was expecting those to go until 97 get Enviro 400H MMC but turns out the Enviro 400 replaced them.
