One of the NS Electroliners has gone onto the 256 this morning for the extra morning extra bus that NS run. Nothing appears to have registered on lvf or bus times but I promise I saw it 😂

The Metrocities are all out on the W11! Stagecoach are really good at getting majority of their electrics on a route on its first day. They did this with the 86,276,339 and now W11. The 86??? lol Are you having a laugh. It has been around nearly 4 months conversion!!!

The 86, 276 & 339 had little or no electrics running on their first days - 86 was still, mostly at least, Enviro 400 operated, 276 was using a mix of different Enviro 200’s for a number of months & the 339 was still using the former DM’s and sole WM also for a few months. Go-Ahead have achieved it several times previously and Abellio did on the 306 & C3 To be fair I think what OP means is the first day from when the EV infrastructure is ready The 339 was of course late but when the EVs were ready to go it was a full EV service from day 1. The 86 and 276 weren’t quite like that obviously but they were rapid conversion when everything was in place The 86 has anything but that. Even after full electrification, It has only been since last week we saw a full run out, then even still there are days there are a few E400's still on the route.

Noticed one of the "82's" on the 86 doesn't appear to have a rear blind box I'm sure I've seen another like it looks like a black card or something there ? Or is the rear blind just not working very clear all black if case

The chargers at RM are finally being repaired/replaced.
Morning Rainham Work will begin again in a couple of weeks with new electrification for the bus chargers. The works will start by the entrance on the right, this will effect the parking of around 14 vehicles permanently. As you can imagine the logistics of having vehicles on site is now becoming even more problematic, I am asking you all to park sensibly and where necessary find other modes of transport to attend work. I will post again a week before the works begin to remind you all, however parking will be restricted even more than it is now. Steve

Interesting, what is the next route at RM converting to EV? I imagine it’s to repair and replace the problematic chargers! As you are aware there has been lots of issues with the ones for the 174. I don’t see any mention of them being for another route and not seen any recent tender awards for electrics at RM.

They will probably do some more preparatory work at RM though as it will be awarded more electric routes sooner or later.

Reading the notice suggests it is the power supply to the chargers not the units themselves.
