I think they're covered with a black sticker from the delivery run it's good to see 86 using normal blinds new buses. One day it be LEDs 🫡😂 Luddite technology 😂 Should be mandatory for LEDs now in Johnston yes but LEDs are the way forward

View AttachmentWhy are there so many inconsistency with the new specs? first time I have seen this and it looks awful! I would say the old IBUS screens look better!

It's the same screens Metroline use as well, however neither use them completely either.

Nobody there now understands the need for consistency and good quality customer information.

View AttachmentI admit it does look a bit "budget" compared to the original ibus screen but does it do it's job ? Is it similar to 99.9% of Hannover screens outside of London on the front of the bus ? And does it bring a bit of variety instead of the bog standard ? I think it's time we moved with the times instead of the amount of waste on non standard things compared to bus operations elsewhere think of the savings that could be used for elsewhere and the "environmental impact" of adjusting non important things just for London .

I thought they were going to roll out the high spec screens with lots of information on them like those on the 63? Or is this just the additional screen above the wheelchair space?

This is just the additional screen, there are LCD screens elsewhere but they just display the same information as the standard dot matrix screens.

Since we're talking about LCD screens, I noticed how the Information Display on the BZL demonstrator on the 213 has the screen above the exit, it's a rather interesting place to put it, but I didn't notice any other displays, I wonder if this is supposed to be the one for wheelchair users to view, and there should be a normal LCD one at the front of the bus for users to view with the D7, 277 and 58 batch?
Speaking of the batch, is it only the D7's batch that has started to arrive or are there any updates on the 277 and 58 too?

Not sure about that one, from what I've heard: 86185 (LJ24 ZNU) is part of the D7's batch and I believe that 86192 (LJ24 ZNV) and 86195 (LJ24 ZNY) are part of the 277's batch. I believe it was listed like this on the buslist website, but I'll check again and confirm with you

The screen above the door is the one for the wheelchair user but also useful for standing passengers. There is a normal screen too.
