What are the chances of the 257 converting to EVs this year or is next year more likely? More likely to be early next year at the earliest but wouldn't surprise me if it's much later than that.

Tender announcement:
More tender results
I am very pleased to advise that we have won back Plumstead's 422 and Kangley Bridge's 284. These are both on the basis of existing diesel buses with 3 year contracts.
We have also won back Barking's 169 and Romford's 247, both on the basis of new electric buses for 7 years.
With tendering, results are never certain but this continues a very good run for us - congratulations and thanks to all involved.
Take care Paul

Take care Paul 422 going to diesel allocation? 👀 I wonder if the surplus 67 plates from that and the 257 will be used on another route

So should be enough now for a full E40D allocation on the 422, depending on whether the 602/669/672 are diesel or hybrid on paper? The 67reg at PD are allocated to the 161.

I think the 53 had a PVR cut around the same time, releasing some 16reg to the 422, but these have since gone to BK for the 145. With the 422 now going fully diesel, what are the ex-47 B5LHs at PD now allocated to?

I’ve got no clue though what those ex 47 B5LH’s are for at PD though
