I think Stagecoach will still order buses from other manufacturers alongside ADL as they have just ordered another 158 Yutongs for Stagecoach outside of London recently alongside the next gen ADL electrics as well. It's a shame we've not had any TfL orders for Yutong yet. I really like their products As I understand it Yutong do not have a compliant TfL spec bus available…

And it was rumoured that Arriva would have purchased Yutong single decks if they needed any, which they didn't. www.keybuses.com/article/yutong-e10-begins-trials-arriva-croydon

Since then TfL has introduced its bus safety standard and none of Yutong’s current offering complies with it. Amongst other things they don’t meet the VRU front end design or offer AEB.

I think we are starting to get more electrics for the 58 out. After a long period of just 2-3 max out, there were 5 yesterday. Did see a few parked up at LI yesterday too so not sure why it is taking time to transition.

Nice to see one of the e200s originally for the 339 back on it's home route again. Not complaining I'm enjoying every minute of this as one day when every bus in London is electric more and more people will start looking at events for the vintage buses to run to relive them moments.

The bus is part of the new allocation for the 242, I image as you say it’s either for route testing or type training if they have decided on the type for the 247, may as well use then whilst HK is unable to house electrics currently.
