how double deckers causing cracks residence houses I understand if trainers passing The only way Trainers would cause cracks in a house would be it they crashed in to them Thus sort of thing happens on the Railways too. People buy a property next to the railway, then complain about trains going past their kitchen window. I was reading article resistance was complaining Trains passing there property near railway tracks. It's simple. Don't complain

I think really these sorts of people should probably show evidence of building damage from a building inspector that's rightly attributed to the fault being with the buses. If this is provided then TfL can probably fund some home improvements.

It was 30 years ago now but there was one man who lived close to the Abbey Wood Lane stand who was responsible for almost all of the complaints emanating from that location. He wasn't a bus user but used to complain every time someone left their engine running, or lights on, or revved to build up air, or parked 6 inches beyond the marked bay, or basically anything he could find. If I remember it was the 287 which was most in his sights and it got to the point where we basically used to beg the drivers to be as quiet as church mice in the area.

What used to annoy me most was that he never went on a bus in his life but objected to buses being on the estate at all, particularly within earshot. Memory is a bit hazy now but I think we invited him over for a face to face meeting which did help a bit, but he then just complained in a slightly more friendly tone.

There was a guy who lived in the flats by Parsons Green Station who took offence to buses sitting with their engines switched on when on District Line Rail Replacement, even though (technically) it was a Bus Stop, rather than bus stand. He'd often hang out his window taking photos of the (non) offending buses and Supervisors (me). There was another guy who lived opposite the Fulham Broadway stand who would phone the QB traffic office if any of us "dared" to allow a curtailed 211 to stand on the Fulham Broadway stand

Amazing how the NIMBYs didn't get any cracks in their houses when Titans, Metrobuses, Fleetlines and Atlanteans were in charge around Abbey Wood Lane Stupid residents, I hope TFL do not back track, the 165 desperately needs DD’s speak to the passengers that actually use the route it can be a cattle bus sometimes and they even miss stops due to being too full at times. I wrote a complaint about the opposite to this stating the 165s were severely over capacity and needed double deckers a few weeks ago so it’s nice to see TFL actually act upon a complaint about capacity though I know I am not the only one and there have been others that have also complained about overcrowding on the route. The cynic in me says this isn't about your complaint, more about operational convenience on the part of Stagecoach.

I think so to, I'm under no illusion, I was however not the only person to complain about the 165s capacity issues, there have been at least 10 different people that I know for sure of who have complained.

To avoid any doubts, the 165 mmc’s at NS have a standard 2018 NS/RM set in them.

I'm guessing NS have a few more now (Although I am not sure how many NS are receiving.) as they have been subbed on the 165 today but saw 37526 (Parked) & 37528 (In service.) I must admit, when I took 37528 on the 296 earlier it was certainly are nippy on the carriageway, I'd say an improvement to the 11 & 13 reg. On a separate note this is the second time the 296 has got hand-me-downs from the 165.

These MMCs though are good for it as well

Random one ment to post this on other day , but haven't been Stratford for a while but I see two 257s on Wednesday standing at the back of stop C at Stratford , one also had a blue running card in the holder saying route 257 instead of the normal yellow running number ,
What was the running number about ? And do 257s now stand there when late or for a quick turnaround ?
