I believe the 58's ones are still in the process of being delivered or are yet to be comismsioned and ready to enter service. I haven't seen anything for the D8 and 277 yet. It just annoys me how there are black panels on the double decker ones, but there are no logos or anything at the front. The E400 Cities are able to pull off the look without the logos with Go Ahead and etc, but with the BZL DD, it looks as if something is actually supposed to be there in my opinion. They could've just put the MCV logo, but I guess not! Though I do wonder if electrification works at HK have started, considering the fact that the 242 Electroliners have arrived, and the 323 is due to move in a couple of months and therefore giving it more reason to be electrified as quick as possible. I believe Stagecoach vehicles generally do not carry any manufacturer badges on them, otherwise the Volvo or MCV badge would be there like the Go Ahead example currently has. I think that policy has changed since Stagecoach sold out recently

That's right as they had no Mercedes-Benz badge on the front of their Citaros (except the Artics), something that is generally normally found on all Citaros They had get dispensation from head office IIRC. The then MD Barry Arnold had mentioned, around 20 years ago! This was a silly policy imo that Stagecoach adopted after gaining American operations, where it was common place in the States. So during 2002 no new buses were ordered with badges and others had them taken off on repaint.

I don't know why, but some people seem to think that the E100 EV is too small for the revised W12. I'm not so convinced myself as the busiest part of the current W14 will actually be covered by the W13's extension. I disagree as the busy part I see every week or so is Woodford Bridge to Leytonstone which is staying as the revised W12. Strange, that used to be the dead section when I drove the route some years ago. That may only be busy from station commuters in the AM/PM peak but never a crush load or even a full load. At times the Leytonstone High Rd part if a 257 did not turn up in a while saw the bus got packed out.

Somehow in the last period, the 365 got a worse QSI performance result than the 174. The 86 and also got not great results. Hopefully the 247’s will improve from March 👍 That is shocking, the 365 does not seem that bad, compared to the 174

Hopefully the 247’s will improve from March 👍 The 86 has had a pretty rough few months with roadworks between Ilford and Romford, so not surprised figures aren't great Plus that lengthy diversion at Forest Gate for a few weeks when the police station caught on fire.

I hope the W12 is having a whole new fleet of existing buses, the existing Solos are not going to work for the new extend route they are too small. If you imagine years ago the 206 used to go from Chigwell Station to Walthamstow Central, removing the Chigwell Station to Woodford Bridge section (which was sparsely used anyway), the W12 pretty much replicates the old 206 give or take. And the 206 used Leyland Nationals and were always at least 3/4 full throughout the route. Surely then, no one in their right mind can think that Solo's are even remotely capable of handling large volumes of passengers. Ahhhh, memories The tickley sound of the Leyland National engine and heavily smokey exhausts. I never got to ride the 206 under LT. I remember when Eastern National took over with their green and yellow buses. IIRC their Leyland Nationals were even longer being the 11.3m single door ones. LT had 10.3m dual door as standard. I don't miss the brown vinyl seats and stinky ash trays on the seat back of the Eastern National ones.

I expected the announcement for the 310 would be like 3,10 not 3,1,0. Just logged it in and it’s pronounced like that. Are the 110,210 and 410 like that too?

Amazing how the NIMBYs didn't get any cracks in their houses when Titans, Metrobuses, Fleetlines and Atlanteans were in charge around Abbey Wood Lane They were not as heavy. IIRC Titans weigh around 9 tonnes. Most current Low floor single decks weigh around 7 tonnes. Most low floor double deckers weight around 12 tonnes.

Simple solution sell house and move why should a route have reduced capacity because of selfishness. To who? If prospective buyers see cracks and realise it would get worse, they would want a heavy discount of asking price, or run a mile from the house

Sorry, but I cannot read 23 pages of updates since my last visit on August 17th. This is my least favourite LBL successor anyway.
Any news concerning new Volvo electrics if applicable will become apparent in due course anyway.

Oh!! could have sworn it said starting on 31st August! Not to worry It was planned to start on Saturday 31st August but first day of operation has been deferred to Sunday 1st September. I don't think it has been said explicitly but it may be a nod to the Jewish Shabbat (Sabbath). I rarely speculate on the forum but a possible outcome post trial period may be to operate the route Mon-Fri and Sun only.

The 410 announcement is pronounced as four ten, and I assume 110 and 210 are the same 110 and 210 are pronounced as 1-ten and 2-ten yes. And the *11 routes are pronounced 1-eleven, 2-eleven and 4-eleven The 3-1-0 sounds about right for TfL nowadays, no consistency and some of the announcements are terrible. The huge pauses between ‘to’ and the new destination get me. The worst one is the new P5 ‘Nine Elms, Patmore Estate’, it’s said in such a low, monotone way with no energy. And I also hate how the SL routes have such a pause between ‘SL1 … to North Finchley’. I could rant loads about some of today’s ibus announcements, I have no idea who is signing this nonsense off but it’s clearly someone with very little experience

As mentioned up thread it is to be trialled on route 86.
