Has the 225s batch been confirmed as I have seen people suggest its the Ex-W14 buses however there are only 3x 65 reg and I would have thought the 12 reg would be too old being 13 years old. It's also been mentioned on here that the 310 is anticipated to use the Ex-W14 batch and this is all well and good if the W routes have converted by then but as things stand the BZLs have been really slow entering service on most routes they have been ordered for. I also believe there are still batches to be built before the W13/W14 ones. I thought the 225 was going to be the ex-W13 vehicles, with the ex-W14 vehicles going to the 310. I'm pretty sure 225 is getting all the ex W13 MMCs with 3 of the W14 65 regs Darts. Not sure what will make up the allocation of the 310, but I recall someone saying it here earlier.

Yes, pretty much. Although the fact they can’t run a full complement of LTs on a reduced Sunday allocation speaks volumes about the state of those LTs! At this rate, I wonder whether those could be the first batch of LTs to be withdrawn, rather than reallocated to another route? I would not be surprised they are deliberately running them into the ground as they know they would be for a short term. Would not be the first or last Stagecoach have done this.

Won’t be long until the route is fully converted. 31st August: wasn't really up for a Saturday lunchtime end2end '58' but having seen this post glad I made the effort to travel to Walthamstow where I waited over an hour for the 'right' bus letting 4 x EV / 2 EvoSetis go before a chance for a ride to East Ham on 10 plate Volvo (Gemini 2) 16990.

82070 Has arrived at WH One of the 257s Batch The delivery times of these Electroliners is amazing! Hopefully the infrastructure works at T start soon. I can see a big reshuffle of vehicles at T garage soon. Strongly predict the 275 taking on the MMCs! But again time will tell.

There is a TMP and a BZL on the 678, part of me says that the TMP is also a BZL?
If the two move over to the 58, they can convert to a fully electric operation.
EDIT: W13 is also using a BZL from the 277!

The 275 already 2 or 3 Hybrids from the 56s PVR cut so if the MMCs come in for it, I predict a few more Hybrids from PD will top up cos the 422 is gonna be a full Diesel contract next year.

As far as I’m aware the 275 on paper is still 100% diesel, if anything I can see the MMCs heading to PD ousting E400s as most routes there are not far into their contracts and practically all routes are allocated hybrids. The 275 is up for tender later this year and there aren’t enough complaint hybrids at T to convert the route fully to hybrid operation, so I can see it becoming electric if retained, not hybrid.

That is exactly what I thought but it actually is a mix of Diesel + Hybrid (LX61s). I politely asked a member of staff to check cos I was curious. The 261 at Selkent is also partial along with the 123 at Arriva. The 422 at PD has recently been awarded for a full Diesel contract so would make sense to send the E400Ds freed from the 257 there to exchange E400Hs in return to make the 275 fully 100% Hybrid. Watch this space as they say.

To be honest I doubt 275 would convert fully hybrid since I dont think theres even gonna be enough spare (238 needs them from 277) so i maybe see a half hybrid (YX67) & half EV allocation but honestly think thats the most that would happen and its 99% more likely gonna go full electric anyway Overall I’m sure Stagecoach have a plan for them…

More likely to indeed go EV as the 257 will already be so soon. Out of curiosity, what is the status of the 179 and what that likely to go EV?
