Any reasons as to why T11 / T43 are (thankfully) still roaming around the streets of South London? I would have thought they could have transferred a few LJ61 T's off W3 to replace these buses, or even an HV to Dartford to replace T11. T43 is probably still hanging around as it is a 612 bus. It probably won’t be withdrawn until electrics begins service at TH I was about to write the same thing. T43 is hanging around until the new Electroliner buses enter service, speculation is end of June they will enter service on the 64

Ithe driver was about to write the same thing. Good point. In June 2023 I undertook an e2e on the 64 on the basis that EV were 'imminent'. At the New Addington terminus I spoke with the driver and from memory she intimated that "We're being trained in July"....so that's a year ago...

I cant work out if it is a real picture or if ServerKing was commissioned. I was asked to provide my best photo of DW336 which is looking scruffy in her old age... but it's hardly very de-carbonising so they chose ES30 instead

Put some other vehicles to shame. Rode T43 on 466 few years back and was indeed an solid performer with good kickdown enabled. Might try and grab an good ride on that before it gets withdrawn when I finally have a free weekend.

I checked the brand new blinds installed on T193, the front destination blinds order is as follows: 64, 198, N250, 250, 289, 612 and 689. All the destination blinds for each route are all together. For example, the 64s destinations: New Addington, Addington Village, Selsdon are all grouped together.

Good luck to all at Arriva. Hopefully we see I squared’s talk about reducing carbon translate into investment in electric or hydrogen buses and infrastructure at whatever remains of the UK operations once it has finished closing stuff down.
