I would hope that they avoid South Norwood at all costs. I would send them via Central Hill, Anerley Hill, Anerley Road, Elmers End Road, Elmers End Green, Upper Elmers End Road, Monks Orchard Road, Bridle Road, then LOR to the stand I think the low bridge can be avoided by turning onto Manor Road and Sunnybank Going via South Norwood would be foolhardy considering all the traffic. And either way, going via Anerley and Birkbeck is much more direct and quicker, even if South Norwood didn’t have issues with traffic

Does TH have chargers for all routes or only the 64 at present, if only the 64 I can see the ES arriving for the 289/50/250/194 gathering dust for some time.

Does anyone know what the dead run route from Shrublands to Norwood Garage will be. Please don't be via South Norwood, I can envisage complications arising! I would hope that they avoid South Norwood at all costs. I would send them via Central Hill, Anerley Hill, Anerley Road, Elmers End Road, Elmers End Green, Upper Elmers End Road, Monks Orchard Road, Bridle Road, then LOR to the stand I think that would be the obvious route although they could go via Norwood Junction using Sunny Bank and Manor Road like the 197 does.

N has tonnes of free space so sending the 198 there instead of TC is a no-brainer. I also believe there were some HAs parked there for rail-replacement so if they are still there could act as extra helpful spares Those HAs are still at N for rail replacements no idea where they will be off to next probably other routes within the company. As mentioned already there really shouldn’t be an issue with 198 drivers getting type trained on HVs when refurbishments completed can be used on Route 198…

Just seen the new LEDs on HV283 they look fantastic, but why does it only say the 2 is going to Norwood?
That is soooooo vague, Norwood is massive and spans 3 postcode areas.
And is the whole batch getting the LEDS and the new ibus screens?

And is the whole batch getting the LEDS and the new ibus screens? Probably an error. It should be displaying West Norwood like HV281 & 282

Yup all 70 odd HVs getting refurbished for the 2 249 and 468 will all be getting refurbished to that standard (according to reliable forum members)

And when you do the maths, HV281-320/386-412 makes exactly 67, yes. I do wonder why that was refurbished so early. So it won’t have LEDs, LCD iBus screens or the seats which say ‘priority seat’

Just a regular refurb— repainted exterior, fresh moquette etc

Maybe HVs since theres 3 spares at N.
