Could we see an order of 117 vehicles from Wrightbus for routes 34, 41, 141, 196, SL1 and SL6. They would be numbered ES162-278 but something tells me that they’ll “go rogue” and order BZL DDs How would ordering BZLs be going rogue if they've already got a load on order? A “load”?, they’ve only ordered 51 to AR for routes 243 and 341

My reasoning is that Electroliners seem to be better powered and, with a better range, would probably be the best choice for the 34 and the Superloop routes. Then 141 with Electroliners to intermix with the 34 and 41 with BZLs to intermix with the 243/341. 196 I would say Electroliners slightly more likely as ALS will have plenty by then.

Which is why I'm not surprised at all about BZL's being ordered for the 243 & 341 as Arriva regularly multisourcing especially for London whenever they got many new buses on order around the same time.

I personally think 196 and SL6 will receive BZLs. Norwood do seem to love their Volvo buses, just like Tottenham , so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get Volvo electrics. Time will surely tell— who knows— they could even get the integral ADL E400EV

Not saying it would be what I want though!

Look at it from an engineering point of view… The 34 141 & SL1 I imagine will all get the same type as well.

My hunch is Electroliners for the 34, 141 and SL1 and BZLs for the 41 as well as 196 and SL6. Time will tell. This is my exact prediction I actually think N will receive Electroliners and I hope they do over the BZL. I think BZL’s might be concentrated more to North London

Not necessarily, as the 41's tender result came was announced a bit later than the 243/341, and starts its new contract later too. My guess would still be for more BZLs for the 41 for a common fleet, I can only see them getting something else if the BZLs are too long to fit around the route.
