I could see a big BZL order for the 41 to include the 123 so the 123 is retained with an Existing Bus bid

This is also now the 3rd ADL order for the 196 with 3 different operators. In addition very interesting variety of EVs now indeed 5 DD different types and so far 2 SD types. Interesting what will be ordered for TC Routes and the 41/N41 that remains. I was going to mention jury’s out on what TC is going to get, it could literally be anything now 😂😂 because it’s a large order for the garage I think there could be two types with their recent diversification And I knew it would be a matter of time before the ET jokes flooded in 🤣 I know it's not confirmed but I predict that 60 and 466 getting Electroliners, whilst the 405, 412 recieve E400EVs and the 312 gets Kites.

Overall don’t be surprised if it’s one type (Excluding 312) ordered for all the routes 93 EVs

I associated what these routes with what they use currently which is why they have that mismatch. But realistically it would make more sense to order one type rather than 2.

I'm conflicted on the order for N - whilst variety is always a good thing, I'm not a fan aesthetic wise of the new Enviro 400 having seen it twice in the flesh though at least the downstairs rear issue has been sorted on the new models judging by the demo that was at TB.

We see what buses 123 gets if is retained my card be Electroliner or BZL also BD11 Judging by recent EV orders by Arriva, it seems like they tend to keep a single vehicle type for each garage. So I guess Arriva will order BZLs for the 123 if they retain it, so that it can share vehicles with the 41/243/341.

This sounds crazy now having got used to it, but I also really disliked the look of the MMC when it came out. But now it’s aged like fine wine. Hopefully it’ll grow on you in time I understand why people think it’s over styled though even though personally I love it

I have a pretty strong feeling we’ll see two types for TC, (with the SD being the same equivalent type as one of the DDs)

I hate the headlights, I hate the sharp lines and I hate the overall look. It’s like Toyota designed a bus. 3/10 for me.

ADL designers have done very well there.

I agree, they are actually adapting to change and how we are going to a more modern era, having buses looking like electric esteems might not be the best way, but the cost effective way. I can see the Volvo BZL and the E400 EV design aging very slowly. The Vision Zero Electroliner is a questionable one though!

Beddington is looking very empty today, EMCs have departed leaving a T and two SLSs behind
